Cleaning Headlights.

Well, you know when your plastic headlights age and they turn yellowish, how do you make them clear again? Can it be done by just washing, or poloishing, and advice?

You could open it, and clean the insides... that is what some workshops have recommended to me.

If it's plastic changing colour..time to change liao. Nothing can help.

i tot autosol got 1 kind only, anyway, metal autosol also can because i think it is slightly abrasive s oit could be like using a very fine grit sandpaper

Autosol will kill your reflector !! It's oxide thing

if u get cheap crystal light (RM150 headlamp and two set signal)
after half year,be yellow aready,change back stock 1

i try it wth autosol it really work....

Now Malaysia got sell Autosol plastic cleaner, metal polish and silver polish. there is also a marine resin or something. All cost RM7.90. The plastic cleaner i have successfully used to remove scratches on clear plastics. Definitely won;t harm plastics. But i'm not sure it would cure yellowing plastic problem.

From what i know some car headlamps don't have refelctors and lens that can be seperated.
