i wan kaypoh, i drive manual kenari. full tank rm53, go 500km

on Highway...full tank RM55 could reach RM600...constant 110Kph...dropped already considering i got 700KM on RM55 on CNY due to the petrol price increase...somemore on the way back caught heavy traffic in North South expressway...but normal city drive i could only managed max 180KM on RM20 if i am lucky...

here are some tips on helping driver save petrol...mostly related to driving habits...

a tip of my own...i like to accelerate a bit harder but not too hard to shift through the first few gears faster...then reach my target cruise speed and shift into the highest gear possible...do it smoothly and when situation allows it like clear traffic...

engine oil also another thing we often overlook...dun wait until ur oil reach 5000KM only change... sometimes changing the oil when ur car feels sluggish and heavy could help in getting better fuel consumption...furthermore our oil not very expensive...

a vacuum meter could help in saving petrol i.e monitoring ur throttle inputs...and it could help in monitoring engine health also...i think it is a worthy investment...
