recently my HU cant play those burned cdr. some one recommend me to use blank cdr which meant for audio cd burning, rather than those cdr for general purposes(data, video, audio cd etc)

where can i find this kind of cdr for audio cd burning?

as far as I know CD-R are all the same.

The burnt CD u play on ur HU, is it CD-R in the first place or CD-RW?

Hm... i doubt there's a difference between those so called "audio CD-R" and normal CD-R. It's about the same. Well, maybe u should try getting CD-Rs from a better quality? Stuff like Imation or Yamaha should be fine, and burn the discs at 12x(which is supposedly the best speed for audio discs) ;)

anyone got good CD ripper software? perhaps a 24bit/20bit quality?
i currently using a 16bit one. But result is not good. dunno its due
to CD writer? or the disc? or the software? the format?

the piano and vocal sound is a bit out... it has distorded in CDR/CDRW
(16bit 48khz) but fine for the Original CD which is 20bit K2.. bla bla bla.

nope, i just download off the web. But Nero's MP3 encoder is kinda good, it comes standard with the WAV editor and Nero Burning ROM 6.6.

I think artnet is refering to something like EAC(Exact Audio Copy) whereby the ripped CD will sound exactly or close ot 98% similar to the original copy. Not MP3 rippers.

ohhh... kekeke.. sorri, coz in my context, ripping would be for MP3 liaoz... kekeke

really? all r the same....i recalled seeing a verbatim cdr which meant for video burning....

will try 12X burning speed...

I mean, if u are comparing the normal CD-Rs and the black faced ones, i don't seem to get better sound reproduction from them, nor did i get the ability to read the discs when they are scratched(so called can still read when scratched black faced disc. DUH!)

Give the 12x speed a try. ;)

daihatsu wan...? nope, coz in malaysia they put the brand under Perodua... kekekekek

LOL... i'm not kidding lah.. hahaha.. mitsubishi chemicals cd-r is one among the top notch quality cd-r that available in the market

it's from mitsubishi chemical though.... not mitsubishi motors

yup..
mitusbishi chem
ricoh (ridata)
smart buy

all are grade A CD-Rs

best if u can get the blue dyes wan...

Mitsubishi is NOT just a motor company, in fact, it's one of the biggest companies in Japan, but with a lot of different divisions, Mitsubishi Motors is just part of it. ;)

kinda like samsung to korea lor... samsung do all kinds of stuff... construction, petrol, cars etc

update

after couple of different brand cdr being tested. i found out 2 important points:

- the label of the cdr itself must bear "compactDISC recordable" logo
- burn Only 12x .

only then my HU will read/play.

Ermmm... CD-R = Compact Disc Recordable already dei...
As for burning speed, yes, the slower the burn speed, the burn quality would be better.

nope. friend

i found out. i hv come across alot cdr doesnt come with the label of "compact disc recordable". i hv tried and failed.

as for speed. nope. not slower better. i tried anything lower than 12x. crap. cant read by HU
