CD playing prob

any suggestions 2 get it play nicely other than go 2 shop n replace the head? done cleaning (using cd cleaner) but no use la..

Some player might so sensitive or sometime is causing ur pirated cd bad recording or quality...

If more than 2 years.. The len life maybe gone liao..
You can send for changing a new len...

i used to burn a cd's..normally wen i try it to my car player brand CLARION sometimes it can't read and error 6 appeared. but wen i try it out da same cd's into my wife car player brand PIONEER it sounds and run ok..

btw bro..how much is da lens???

pioneer 2150, was old right?? i trust in pioneer player as b4 dis use the same brand wit mp3, wat ever cd it can play nicely, even when car bumping like h**l, but sadly need money than offer 4 trad in.
dis person trad in his player n top up some money. asked him b4 not 2 take out his player yet, want 2 test 1st, but when he came 2 change the player it was took out already. he promised dat his player still ok, then ok la i agreed.
but after installed, only 2-3 cd can read n was also not properly, jumpin2 la, whatever la...even the ori 1, just bought last month!!! so, 'terjebak' la n asked him 2 top up some money for repair the player, no answer!!
so like dis i still need to send the player 2 shop la, service and change the lens...can't DIY eh??

heh bro,
that means tis guy cheated you on your money to buy his cd player...how much u buy the player?the only DIY you can do is to use the cd cleanner to clean the lens.You can ask the shop how much the lens cost,if it is more than the player cost mght as well change a new player....:regular_smile:

what model of sony u have and how old is it?

Mine was sony too bought in 2001 and blow 3 ICs last month - quoted RM331 by Sony if want to repair + 3 month warranty..not worth anything..5 years old oledi better buy new model with advance tech..Still wondering how it's blown - happened after police patrol car stopped me - langgar red lights..THen the HU have standby mode only n cannot turn on..

my system just standart one. my last owner b4 this used amp(2 channel) but take it out when he sold the cars.. then i do normal/simple wiring but find out that he used transistor on the wiring. i take it out.. dunno wat function??
after that my cars become like now..

need to check its 1st.. but my player can play cd and vcd..
and forget to mention.. b4 i buy the player.. test on last owner..
dame nice and cun sound goes out..
but when plug on my car.. got 2 second "hang time" (sangkut) when play cd..

so u dont have amps? i cant imagine HU inbuilt amp sucking that much power. something must be wrong with the wiring, need to get it checked at some experienced installers that are good in troubleshooting...
