:D hallo .. all sifu ... got something want to check with you all ...
i was thinking just buy one good condition's 4G15 block replace ... regarding the registration part ... if convert from same model and same capacity's engine .. do we need send it to puspakom for inspection or not? I went to www.jpj.gov.my read their rules .. but it doesn't mentioned of puspakom inspection ... :P i hate if too much procedure need to follow ... I know if change from same model and same capacity can direct to state jpj .. no need through putrajaya's jpj ... Just want to know how difficult the procedure .. anyone please help ...

 one question .. if my original is 1300 CC and already converted to 1500 CC .. now going to change new 1500 CC's block again .. it consider change same capacity 1500 CC or still consider from 1300 to 1500 CC ??

 I not sure need to bore or not .. I thought 4G13 and 4G15 different only piston's height, cylinder size is same .. correct me if i am wrong ..

bore too risky .. afraid engine easy heat ....

:D yala .. play for safe la... car on the road .. can be happened anything unpredictable .. anywhere ..

one question out of topic a bit ..
From JB to Genting .. If use North South Highway .. Where should I exit? Use which road to Genting? Anyone know ??

for go th genting from JB very easy!!!!

follow north south highway untill sungai besi toll

and after toll
keep lefthand and slow slow drive about 80KM/h

and search road sign for kuantan in dark blue back ground --->that means not hignway!

then u will round up a big round to change road to Middle Ring Road II
then u also keep 80km/h and go for about 10 minutes keep follow kuantan

then u will see a series of petrol station on ur left hand side on a down hill road

the u keep left and follow kuantan and genting sign in green colour now!!!
so follow genting loh!!!
will need to pay RM4 for a toll

so total cost will be jb to kl toll about RM42 something is it??(long time never go home liao :( !) plus RM 4 genting kaki toll, plus petrol about RM 45 up to genting for wira 1.5
total about RM91

two way is about 182 lah!!

Thanks ... thanks ....
I found the Map already .. thanks for your explanation .... ;)

ocean, if u change ur block, legally, u've converted ur engine from 1.3 to 1.5. U have 2 options :

1. Register with JPJ
2. Erase the serial number on the 1.5 block, then re-write the 1.3 serial number onto the 1.5 block. In KL people have been doing this, JB I don't know lar.

To convert ur block, u'll need the block itself, then pistons, oil sump, conrods & crankshaft. Finding a 1.5 block is hard. Reboring a 1.3 block to 1.5? U'll need to bore by 4 mm, that's huge and not very reliable in long term, better find a 1.5 block. I also got a 1.5 block (block+crankshaft+conrods but no piston) for free ;) but not yet going to put it into my engine, coz I want to "bikin" the block first. Need money first  Now the block is lying in my house waiting for its fate. Ironic is that I transported that heavy & oily & slimy block on the bonnet of my own car :)

:P last time i registered my 1.5 block is runner settle for me ... I am working and really no have time goto JPJ and puspakom settle the registration ... I also quite headache if wanna change the another 1.5 block if still need to register again .. coz on my car's certificate stated current 1.5 block's engine number already .. If simple way like just goto JPJ tell them engine already changed with same model and same CC and just request them to change the engine number on my car's certificate .. That is good .. save my time ..

if need to go many step like send application form to JPJ putrajaya and bla bla bla ... (consider 1300 to 1500 upgrade) then forget it ... :P Will think of other solution ...
