Somehow I hate the duct, better lead it to the lower bumper vent and hide it there... Comon, drill a hole on the bumper for this?

Well, it's just me.

yeah, i had the same thoughts but then there are people out there that wants performance rather than exterior looks. so far those that i've seen, remove their foglamps for CAI.

The best way I have seen one guy doing this on his EK 99 is by having the intake located at the foglight trim area. He has the 99 foglight kit but need to remove the passenger side foglight, basically he just use the frame and trim of the foglight kit and attach the intake there. Looks very clean.

not sure laa Lex .. by looking at the design and from the explanation, seems effective enuf for me ..

But it sure looks pretty cool tho with the duct on the bumper....but cant really seem to find a place for the hole.....but i was thinking bout in btween the lower bumper vent and the fog lamp trim .......looks abit weird tho as compared to the 96 spec ones.....but willing to try...hehhe....by the way, anyone knows wut is it called the round thing they usually install after they make the hole.....it's some round metal/aluminium donut thing......where to get them and how much they roughly cost......help guys......thanks

It's usually called duct, but it's really depend what kinda of material you wanna use to make the duct. If you are having 99 bumper, why don't you just leave it at the small 3 flaps vent besides the foglights?

Hi,

No...it's not the duct i'm talking about....hmmm...i dunno how to explain it...it's sort of like a round metal piece which looks like a bell mouth or donut to me sticking outside the bumper....some Ek 96 spec has it on the side of the bumper and behind the donut (which is the back part of the bumper), the cold air intake hose will lead to the filter.....ok...i got a picture...it looks something like that....where can i get this....
