BOOST issues!

anyone can tell me why my car is not reaching the stock standard boost? Curently running only 0.5bar of boost which i presume should be 0.8bar for an evo3. Its at 0.5bar in all the gears.
In another, i did managed 0.8bar a few days ago without doing anything but now its back to 0.5bar. All i did was change black oil, gear oil, spark plugs thats all. I doubt it will effect the boost.

So frens do tell whats wrong. Thank u all so much

IMHO maybe ur vacuum line is leaking, or blow off valve spring is not tighten, or maybe evo 3 standard boost is only 0.5bar....... who knows!? There's alot of things you need to check actually.........

found the problem. its the actuator which is not holding up. just fixed it today. now running around close to 1 bar of boost. really different man.very scary

anytime u want it lor. So sad man, even after they modded my actuator still cannot work. It was working for a while but now died already. Have to find actuator now. any idea where to get a TD05 actuator? need one urgently man

You've got PM. Ermm, why don't you go back to ah thong and ask him for options to go about it?

I guess the only way to get a tD05 actuator is to get another turbine.Rosak one will do as long as the actuator is still working fine, but i guess we wouldn't know if it works until we get it bolted on rite?..

just gotten my actuator changed.After finding for a TD05 actuator for a week.Finally i found one. Fitted in today and now my car is boosting fine. hope it says fine lar ya.

honestly dude, its really hard to find one. Some nice guy from ZTH who changed to a wastegate had an extra so he sold it to me for a good price. Not sure if i can find one or another one or not. Will keep a look out for u ok.

my problem was the other way round...

the boost keep going up, let say 2 bar... LOL ......you guys are not having boost...mine is diff

have you guys experienced such?
