Recently shopping around for a second hand 4wd comfort family car price below RM150k with power not less than 180ps, interested with X1 20D as the size is suitable for me drive around village.
Before talk about modification, any catch about the car? As it consuming diesel, aside needs to be more often change the oil filter, anything that I should take note?
Does it considered as a high risk car (eg. Hilux / VW Golf/ Civic) targeted by thieves?
I intend to upgrade the power, and majority on handling.
Been done a quick search just now about the power upgrade, a few sites offering chip box where can upgrade from 180ps to 220ps. The cost quite vary, from GBP89 to GBP400. Just wonder are these modification reliable?
As for the modification on suspension, any recommended brands and how much the price range about?
