Better Door Closing

I taught United Kingdom :( . Kena bluff again.

Although i am in Malacca for almost 3 years liao still don't know where to get nice stuff lahh. Really have to ask those real Malaccans. Not like me Kopi-O Malaccan.

If want to paint bitumen inside your doors, remember not to block the water holes under the door. If not then you will flood your door, then your car. Like titanic, overflow.

if scared door flood.. then use bitumen strip lar... i think bitumen paint add too much weight to ur car lar...

i bought de 4" bitumen strip around rm3x.00 .. per roll... dun remember liao..

ken,

i think melaka dun have nice stuff lar.. all de accessories shop selling low quality stuff ah... if got also very very limited... :(

Hie, malacca is good when comes to eating. Hehe, i love eating so much.

I think i bought a tong of bitumen paint for RM15++ only. It is cheap and can do all four doors got extra somemore. Bitumen strips a bit expensive lahh. I prefer paint. Sorry, just my opinion. :)

melaka food nice eh?? normal only ler.. only some places nice... not like KL, Penang, Taiping... everywhere also nice to eat.. B)

yaya.. i also wanto c de pic... :)

hi all,

pls forgive mi for being dumb, wats Bitumen and how it looks like? Can anyone share the pics? i'm driving Proton oso, having the same problem as u guys.. actually i not really understand how u guys doing the Bitumen-ing.. I've been asking ard the accessories shops on how to eliminate the metal-hit-metal sound when shutting the door, most of them advised mi to change the door lining (rubber), the worst is, they oso cant guarantee that the sound can be eliminated/reduced..
Really need the details on Bitumen-ing, appreciation in Advan~

ksgoh..

can...as i said, bitumen strips/paint is for vibration damping.. so u stick them onto de metal part.. them stick de superlon on top.... depending which part of car u wanto soundproof...

for door.. bitumen onto de inner metal part... then de superlon u stick onto de door panel....

if bonet... stick bitumen onto de metal.. then stick superlon on top of it...

if under carpet.. stick bitumen onto de metal part.. then just put de superlon on top... no need glue also can... cos de gravity n ur carpet will hold it in place... then dun have glue smell in ur car...

generally.. bitumen is for damping... superlon is for sound insulation...

my 2 cents B)

PRO|ancer[GSR],

bitumen strips if for selaing water leaks especially for roof.... it come in roll form..
got few width sizes.. 2"
one side is bitumen(black) and another side is shiny( i think is aluminium foil)

just cut n use.. stick where u wanto damp vibration. just like sticking tapes.. but this is thicker lar..

u wanto know how it looks like.. checkout this link..
