guys...if a got a Td05 or Td04..can i mod that turbine into ballbearing..??Is it good and relaible arr?

RM 2k wud be to mod each turbo to ball bearing...and furthermore for such a small turbo...it's not worth it.. ;)

Then what u recommed..???mod it to a single turbo lar then...Planing to get the Garret ballbearing turbo...but to expensive with the whole piping and labour and the turbine is about 9-10k la...thats why thought of getting the td05 or td04 moded it to ballbearing so my piping only minimal changes..what do u think about it..

by the way...what's good of td05 or 04 to put ball bearing...it is aledi so smooth spooling...and oso fast...do pnp to ur cylinder head...higher comp...sure fast wan to spool to 1.5bar....

Yea 5k..then i put it at home only for show...10k is plus the whole piping plus wastegate lar....

thats the down side for V6 twin turbo..lack of space..

max u can do is with twin TD04's...expect the lag...but if u play with some piggy back or standalone..it'll help quite a fair bit...

as Antonio said...TD04 is already a very good turbo...why worry bout lag...

One of my friend have tried the triple "K" hybrid K27/K26 turbo for his vr4,
the result is, the wheel keep spinning like hell until 4th gear..
So he lost to evo1 with stock turbo... and both of them using 2wd FF.

And it turn to more failure when you use it for track application..

K27/K26 is bigger than td05 and almost the same as TD06.. and the turbo boost kick at RPM3500..

but if you in the range of RPM5000.. boosting at 1.2bar.. feel the G's dude..
and i'm not sure about the TD07.. because TD06 itself can support more than 400whp.

Hi there,
If u really want a good ball bearing turbo sell off ur old turbo and go ebay look for an IHI RHF4. Quite cheap for rebuilt units.....something like usd250 per turbine w/o shipping expect to pay another say usd50 for shipping....so for the cost of upgrading your old turbines for 4k u can get a pair of real ball bearing rebuilt turbos.
