Rancangan VW rosak kerjasama strategik

So what is ur comment about this?

of coz when u wanna be partners.. have to have control over finances, management, production and manufacturing processes.. if not.. wat d hell are partners?

by the way.. before u post, check out other postings.. there's 1 similiar topic posted here yesterday...

Yes I agree with Blackhowling, but the main point is that VW wants to downgrade our beloved national carmaker,Proton (Tin milo car) to be a sole assembler of their car.If they do that,I believe that one day,Proton just tinggal nama only.

difference in concept.

VW; we are wiling to share some strategic tech with you BUT we need to be able to control some aspects.....

Ptn
alo brathar; what is yours to be shared; is mine to use.
however what is mine, is not to shared with you. (all mine).

Nothing wrong with VW pulling out. It's not going to make the same mistake Proton did when it bought MV Augusta.

Frankly, I don't care if Proton goes into German hands, Korean hands, Chinese hands or Indian hands. All I want is a nice new sports car under RM80k that does 220km/h and 0-100 under 7s.

screw laa...if proton continues to produce low grade vehicles at premium price...i rather have them only tinggal name ler...

i dont see it as a downgrade... judging fr what we get fr proton at the moment. If they were to comply to VW's requirement... i bet we'll get better cars... dont u think so?

Agreed! i rather be drving a proton badged VW than drving a VW badged poton!

ps. satanic, i thought u r suppose to be in wetland now?

IMO proton wants to share VW's tech know how, on making cars, marketing strategies, manufacturing and so on and so forth.

but they will never give up the tops posts...meaning, they will be the one in control when comes to make decisions.

WTH, VW not interested tey will look for alternatives laa... maybe thailand. again.

sighh..

2o% dip in proton shares will teach this bunch of inbred mongrels (no offence to mongrels intended here) to keep their mouths shut and realize globalisation is about mutual success and mileage.

well, pride has brought lots of things down in the past. history is all about repeating itself. if pride means everything to the top brass so much so that its worth them spending time in a sinking ship, so be it.

just dont dig any deeper into the coffer of cash that we the people has help paid for in taxes.

VW sees the problem malaysia is in, they are aware of the problem that proton is in. thats why its in their best interest to request top management control and policy making decisions. nobody wants to feed a dying plow horse that cant work on the fields anymore.

It appalls me that proton is still stubbornly holding on to their interests (not to mention pockets), all becoz of a name. status means a lot more to them, even at the verge of collapse (of course, they have all sorts of plans to bail somehow).

call me unpatriotic, but i wouldnt think this way if our money WASNT used to save their sorry asses just to have them sit back and relax and say "okay, we're clear again, lets enjoy the moment and start working tomorrow".

double, triple sigh.

That's sad. I await the day for proton to be sold for 1yen/rupiah...
or heck, it'd be even better if VW paid people to take it off it's hands.

well, it's an embarrassment to see such a company be associated with the term "national pride"

the sad thing is, the govt continues to bail proton out every god damn time with our hard earned money!! when will they ever learn to be a profitable business venture. it was always a noble idea to have a "malaysian made car" but at the continuos expense of tax payers money- i disagree. in the 80's malaysia was pretty much set in terms of labour and infrastructure to be the "detroit" of the east. with proton, everthing just went down the drain.

look at cost of cars in thailand!! i feel very cheated especially more so when higher income nations have cheaper cars than us. in malaysia only i've see cars equal the price of homes. we have to be burdened by 9 years loan!! thats near 1/3 of your housing loan(max) in total if you buy your car when you're 25 and buy a house when 30 , you only finish paying off everything when you're nearly 60 years old!!

sorry guys, i just had to rant!!
thanks for listening.

There is nothing wrong to be an assembler... Hyundai started as one and today they are a big player... so what?

Is Proton scared that one day VW will sack all Proton management and take over 100%? It is for business and in this industry, u either be smart enough to play the game or just give up and die.

See... 20 over years of protection does more harm than good...

Damn , should have have some Government Officer , or whoever high ranked in Proton register in ZTH and get to know what is happening out here besides than saving their asses and producing low quality vehicles ......

yea...Proton stil not independent yet.....

muz do something la Proton...otherwise...wil 'Gulung Tikar' in future...no joke

more n more users got less confidence bout proton cars oledi....

Proton still need at least 30 more years of protection from G... who suffer? We la...

If that's the case, Proton WILL NEVER learn to compete...

Proton should start approaching other big groups like 'Fiat' since they own Ferrari, Masserati, etc.etc. then maybe we'll get one step closer to producing our own Enzo Satria :)
