Good Day

I plan to purchase Amplifier Soundstream XTA 600.2 (rated around 1000 W) bridged; and Subwoofer MB Quart RWE 304 which rated 600W Max.

If there any problem would occured, the sub would blow or anything. Anyway I just be using sub and moderate volume only.

Pls. help

your amp is rated at 600W bridged mono at 4ohm.
your sub is DVC 4 ohm, so is able to be bridged at 2ohm or 8 ohm only. howeer your amp isnt 2 ohm stable. if u wire it to 2 ohm it becomes 1200W and the amp would be damaged, sub might get damaged as well since it is only 500W rms. if u wire it into 8 ohm u will get 300W, this would be ok la for the sub, but not optimum.

best to get the DVC 2ohm version (302) and wire it at 4ohm.

Your amp when bridged it only give 600watt rms at 4ohm and your woofer actual rating is 250watt rms, 4ohm and DVC, by following on the below link :
http://www.lightningaudio.com/latech/wiringwizard/index.asp?WoofQty=1+woofer&WoofImp=Dual+Voice+Coil+-+4+ohms+x+2&image.x=14&image.y=8
your amp is not suitable for your woofer. Is better that you seek on the other type of woofer, get a SVC, less problem on the woofer wiring and the woofer independence....
Unless you are buying 2 woofer, then is not much problem, you can check it from the above link. This is better for your amp 2 woofer = 500watt rms, it will not blow your woofer already. On the safe side get a eletronic crossover (300++) to reduce the frequency from your amp to sub, if want to safe money on it then buy a coil that cost you around 80-100. Hope this help..

Good day

thank you so muchforthe reply, This make me rethinking again on my purchase planning. the reasn wise I plan to get this is because I get a very good deal on both of the items

But I guess I iht stick to Sound Stream XTA 600.2 and looking for suitable Woofer to accomodate it, Only one 12" that what I am looking for.

What is you suggestion if for subwoofer sound I like it deep and fast but not necessary to be loud, my car is vios.

Actually what I loke about the MB Quart is because of the Built Quality which i see from it.

again guys thank you so much

Fathi
