Intrument Cluster mean your Meter Panel.. need to ask wireman or U can DIY.. at night when U on a head light the HU will auto dimme lorr

Depending on your car, we usually take the wire from the cigaratte lighter or coins drawer light, it's the nearest for Proton and most Toyota. ;)

Thank you all for reply..I driver Waja, so i can use the headlight switch wire?? Coz i have vacuum meter so i can plug with that light wire???? Thank you all siru & tai koh....:X-:

try open your head lamp and see where got light on you dashboard...ie. your lighter, coin box, the illium for air cond... then connect to that diod... tht is the cheapest and easiest way lo...

Thank you sifu craziechild, have anyone do it like that???? Have any different when connect the illumination wire???? Have any Pic can show it???? Coz have a little bit lazy to do it, hahaha...Thank you all sirus

I only saw afew car done it, Proton Wira/Satria 1.6 & 1.8 coz this 2 model have switch to control meter panel dimmer beside side mirror switch.. Waja I did know laa?

may i ask that.... how much you bought the 9855...? any diffrence with the 9853...? can I know the prices of them..? thanks for replying

Think 9855 4 volt pre-out where as 9853 2 volt pre-out. Screen also a bit diff. Hope this helps.

thanks for replying....
beside that, is it worth to have the 9853...?(because the financial problem)
the price different between 9855 and 9853 is big...?

Am using 9855 and a friend of mine using 9853. I'd say 9855 looks nicer and easier to configure (equalizer), functions wise almost the same.

Here's the tech spec of both 9855 and 9853. Have a look before you decide :)

i guess if u can afford it, go for the 9855 lah, it comes with an outboard dc-dc convertor and has bass engine pro functions, as well as 4v pre out. bearing in mind the difference in cost has much to do with the bio-lite display as well.

Agree. If u have limited budget, then try 9853 or pioneer lo, not a bad choice also.

Oh, one more thing in case u go for 9853. Make sure the shop give u warranty cause my friend having the exact problem (see below) and lucky the player is under warranty and the shop exchange another 9853 (different batch) for him.

well, i'm using 9853 for about 13months...so far so good...no such problem cd got stucked inside player....

frankly speaking, if i've the budget back then, regret to say that i'll go for 9855..
the only problem with my current 9853 is that the button where u need to push in order to take out the face is making rattling sound...annoying..

if i'm not mistaken... 9855 is around rm400 extra..i bought my 9853 at RM1450 year ago..

My friend bough the 9853 around tat price also.

Heard Alpine stop 9853 production line already cause they come out with 2006 new model. 9855 still in production though.
