Any one here know how to integrate a protable mp3 palyer to the car..?

which it juz like plug in the connection to a computer..and as well it is removalable..

hehe...as i juz give a though to see it can be done or not... :D

I assume you're using cassette HU. Saw a product selling in gaint hypermarket JB. A normal cassette with wire & mini plug. Just insert the cassette into HU and mini plug to MP3 player. Selling RM40+ if I'm not mistaken.

buy a player with AUX inputs and buy a 2 to 1 digital audio cable and then connect it straight to your mp3 player or laptop ;)

well.. if u put de portable MP3 player in ur car also u wun get good results ler...

1st.. its bcos of de cassette.... quality loss... then another thing is it will stop or skip playing when ur car hit a bump or hole... not stable...

If using CD player, another option would be adding a parametric equalizer with aux function. This enables you to switch the input between your headunit and the aux input.

ther will be loss in quality, but it is not as bad as cassette
i am using it with pda no prob.
MP3 player cant skip.

Here is the connection:

1. From HU to Parametric EQ.
2. If using E-crossover, connect from the output on Parametric EQ.
3. If don't have E-crossover, connect amp directly to output of Parametric EQ.

* Please take note that this connection only works on setup with amplifier.

If not, best to save the cash and get a new HU with MP3 support. :P

There is a product call FM transmitter like the one iPod is using...just connect the mp3 player to the transmitter and broadcast..tune the radio to that frequency can already...no need wiring :)

Just wondering if there is any demand if the thing is selling at RM50??? :)

for me, what i did was using a stereo red/while rca to the headphone jack cable. i'm using sum caplak cassette player...but has line in in the back of the radio. i just connect it like how u connect ur rca to your tv, then plug to my pda. then i just on the cassette player and switch to cd...done =PP nice direct sound...(i previously used a cassette adapter thingy...until i reliazed this)

hope this helps =PP

My setup:

Apacer 512MB RAM mp3 player connect direct to my 2x ch amplifier, then to speaker, whole setup DIY, less than RM400, I have "Anti-shock" player and nice sound output. B)

Dude... juz get one of these :

Digiana Audia X

I've been using it for about a year now (pair with my PDA running MortPlayer). Sound quality is boleh tahan (FM quality lar) but being wireless is the best thing about it.

You can get it online or mabbe from Singapore. One of the more affordable FM transmitters around. Good range too ;)
