Actually i dun mind to giv more than market price If the halfcut is on tiptop condition + low mileage + no modify(hopefully) Means no 'touching' engine internal. :D

yeap...mun lee is considered the middle man between japan and US...and becos of that sometimes mun lee put a high price on HC without worrying whether malaysian will buy from them or not...cos they still got buyer outside malaysia....and they make more money selling to americans than to us locals....i bought my halfcut there before....and saw them laying 15 VTEC's engine to be delivered to USA....my halfcut was in good condition except the valve cover is ruined...mai i ask whether can replace with a better looking one...dunno who one of the worker said if i want i take...if dun wan nevermind...they want to send to ahmelika....fcukers...they dun even want to nego the price a bit....damn...but luckily my engine is damn healthy....so its kinda worth it....

i think what stanic telling is true. mun lee is hafkat exporter... they sell it to US...
i know that they r keeping a lot of type-r stuff but will not be shown to the public...
dun expect that u can nego the price very much bcoz they dun bother if you cancel to buy it.
but in term of loose parts, it depend on ur luck and dealing with the rite guy inside there oso can bring u luck in getting cheap parts...

he took my mines chip because his 'customer' looking for one and wanna make a copy for his customer. after he took it until now still haven't return.
he has the device to read and copy and modify chip...

Just converted there last 2 week ago... price is ok! they only charge 1K for NA engine conversion (look for Ah Lun)
Lots of spare part there... after sale also good as any problem after converting they are willin to solve it.
Opsss Yesterday I called that ah Lun fella in Japan. He will only be back in Sept..
