all bro here, can any give suggestion to me which brand of 272(high) cam is better for evo. now out there few brand of cam so which 1 is the best for me. thx.

try take a look at revolvercams? they have a website if i'm not mistaken. it has pretty aggressive lift. if not go with the tried and true jun/hks lor

someone going all out oredi... :P

jackson...try HKS...JUN oso has good cams...if u got budget, ask toby to make u a special spec cam...really kau kau one... :D

not going all out... just have to know and understand. i'm still young in turbo.. so have to ask the old man mah hehe....... (kidding). toby said HKS and JUN almost the same price so? but also need 4k++
what u mean if have budget to make a special cam??? u mean custom?

for me i will choose HKS 272 cam......
the power is good n make ur RPM very fast after 5000RPM.....
JUN 272cam i try it b4 the respond is ok but compare to HKS..... i will choose HKS.......

donno lah...... maybe the setting.......
it depend on urself which brand wanna choose it......

alot of times the cams oso depend alot on the tuner..itz up to them if they know how to maximize the power from the cams...

hks advertised duration is actually quite misleading, if you take a look at the duration at 1mm, quite a few cams have longer duration than hks.

good thing about hks is you dont "have" to upgrade ur springs and valvetrain since the lift is not as high.

evoinputra going high cams and big turbo...monster man!

now i just think of HKS and JUN this 2 brand only. like u all said that HKS is the better choose for me is it?
dolly, what big turbo u suggest?

melvin, i dont understand what u mean?

why not consider for the Tomei cams? there are 2 types for older 4g63t. both different in vlv lift. and higher than hks or jun. but the type of 11.5mm vlv lift need to replace vlv spring.
price almost the same with hks or jun.

jackson..

i mean..if the tuner / mechanic doesn't know how to maximise the cam settings...he won't be able to extract MAX power for you...and if u have other tunable hardware..he can use all of these to make MAX power for u... ;)

yep tomei oso got good lift, although i dont know what the duration @ 1mm is, can't seem to find it >
evoinputra, i tot u going td06? :D

if i am not mistake tomei got 2 types for 4g63t.
for street use 264 ex10.5 in10.5 (ori vlv spring)
for race use 264 ex11.5 in11.5 (need to replace vlv spring)

hear that Greddy/trust td06 is very responsive turbo. but pls check carefully not those td06 from mits lorry truck.

do you have the specs for the duration @1mm for the tomei sticks?
