Honda integra or perlude??

hi guys i want to buy a car between integra dc2 n perlude 4th generation,
but a bit of confuse between both of them.... can anyone help tell me what the different them two and which one better in overall like performance and spare part....

as i know integra dc2 200hp perlude also 200 hp but different cc leh....

oh ya anyone know the latest price of both of them??

Integra is running on B18C which is the type R.... 1.8 engine at 189 hp
Prelude is running on H22A .. the 4th generation is going at 2.2 with 190hp .... however if u can find one with a Type S engine... u will be getting 220hp.

what u want to get depends on what u want... Integra is a powerhouse machine coupe. Prelude is supposedly a luxury sports coupe. Both are about the same lar, but the Prelude would be more impressive looking lar... however if you are looking to race the car.. then the integra would be a better choice lar....

at the end of the day, u yourself need to answer a few questions before u get either car
1) is this going to be your daily drive car?
2) your purpose of the car(pick up chics or race)?
3) your budget
4) can u handle high fuel consumption

Gi thanks for the update bro .... erm for me i want to but a pick up car with style dude.. but fuel consumption i not really know but i scare is the spare part is the car easy to break down or not how is the spare part cost...

the fuel consumption is around how much actually cause i never own a sport card before.?? any idea??

racing car erm i not going to have any race lah i just want a high power car to drive fast only... i mean real fast on the road and high way cause i travel a lot.

my budget for the car is around 40-80k...i don't like car with a lot of fixing or maintain to do.

so guys what you guys recommend... which one is money wise... both i also like that the problem and not enough to buy both and no friend have any car like this to test try so i don't know the drive feeling....

Bro... if u dun wan a car with lots of repair problems and maintenance... go get a locally assembled car lar... getting a prelude or Integra would be asking for trouble lar... coz parts are all imported... if u can find here in the chopshop then good lar... but if cannot then have to import from Japan... also getting either one of the cars, u better make sure u have set aside RM8k a year for changing parts lar . coz both cars are old lar... so all parts will be due to change wan... no escape... Forget the style lar... go for something that looks good but can be easily maintained locally... unless u really wanna get a car to mod become showcar... then u go for those imported 10 year old car... if its an everyday car... my advice is dun bother getting the integra or prelude lar... Go get a 2nd hand 2.0 civic lor... its powerful and looks good... can take on the Auto Celica(the vvti engine lar.. not vvtli.... Celica owners dun flame me.. hehehehe)... mod the car up so that u can have more power lor...

Mun Lee chop shop use to have one... not sure if they do anymore... these engine sell very well... those American and Australian Dudes.. always managed to buy it before I can get my hands on it...

correction ....H22A JDM 200hp....USDM 190hp...
and also bro...prelude 4th generation is cheap at maintenance n good at fuel comsumption to me(as a 2.2litres engine).....nevertheless,great speeding potential,the only thing is,find 1 in good shape...just my 2 cents

Dun lar get the brand new 2.0 civic... get the 7th Gen civic lor... only 1-2 years old mar.... the ES model.... also ok wat... with RX2 bodykit...

The Prelude fuel consumption is actually good... compared to all the other 2.2 out there lar... wanna get mine?? hehehehe... one of the few 5th gen u can find in Msia with H22A engine... saw a few before.. but those non-vtec....

Lamespeeder... issit... i read it on wikipedia its all 190hp wor... time for someone to update the 4th gen write up on wikipedia liao...

ya please do poison me with honda i love honda dude only dont have much info onthe integra, perlude and ek version the latest one erm ok lah but not enought money to buy koh ..... so was thinking of perlude but all my fren say cannot perform one this car a proton GTI can smoke it also so they suggest me integra cause they say b18c engine very good 190hp and weight to power ration also very good and easy to maintain wor..... i dont know lah cause my fren mostly dont have this type of car so cannot test drive they have fren and tested already lah that wat they said...

for me if the fuel consumption is ard 25-28cents per km on city drive is ok cause of car consump like that wat for 3 year already i drive this car but lately my car cannot perform to the power i wanted .... they said need to do overhaul and change the gearbox already total up ard 2k+ by the way its a 1.5 saga loh all stock ...only do some tuning only ....

saga 1.5 drink 25-28sen??? better drive a 2.0 or 2.2 dohc vtec, only consume 20 and 23sen respectively,...

Wei... i think ur fren raced with a non-vtec prelude lar... there are 2 types lar... vtec engine and non vtec... the non vtec.. of coz cannot challenge with the gti lar.... 160 hp only... wanna compare... of coz must take an apple to apple comparison mar.... GTI is the top of the range proton performance rite???? u must take the prelude Type S to compare lor... muahahah... 220hp for that car leh... vs and 160hp car... u think who win leh???? Just for your info ar... my 200 hp lude whack rx8 and non-turbo supra on the straights leh.... vs the dc2... on the straights my car also whack it lar... but if u talking about corners and such.. the dc2 will win me lar...

wah... u fuel consumption more than my car man.... u better go get a honda lar....
