Kindly enough to share the set up u having and what is the best specification, no modification on engine. custom or branded HKS, APEXI, Greddy etc

Myself using HKS Silent HiPower... Result quite satisfaction, increase mid-end power n pretty quiet which jus suit my preference...

Actually exhuast r pretty much same for various brand, except u wanna it made in Titanium (Trust Ti, HKS Ti Spec R) so tht its very much lighter in weight or u aiming for a loud noisy type of exhuast (5 Zigen, HKS Super Dragger)... As for HP increase wise, it really depends on what other thingy u hv in ur car...

Try SS Racing along Old Klang Road lo... Price can b very attractive sometimes!!! Hehe... They hv de Tomei manifold, 'turbo outlet with Front pipe package' + few brands exhuast for Evos la... Abt price ah, i forgot lo.... Got to go try ur luck la...

S9, tomei manifold pakage dun have wategate one rite? My friend installed, i think he paying RM4k+ for that, not sure.. but sure looks nice. Onli thing is it doesn't have wastegate cause I kinda like the wastegate sound.. keke

been piling $$ for sometime now.. hope enough haha.. to be frank i have no idea what to upgrade after the exhaust.. looking at n1 website.. felt like.. need to spend 5 figure to be at medium level.. always kena tinggal with small2 car.. sigh

Does a standard 280hp car mean it is already powerful?? i dont think so with my
E7.. i think my car heavy laaa..

manifold and waste gate upgrade.. can it be used with standard TD05? or need turbine to be upgrade as well?

i know a few evo "monster" is using Tial 44mm of 1bar spring rate. of cuz u can ask for different spring rate of 1.2 or 1.4 etc.. personally i also prefer 44mm, should be good enough n it look much better than 46mm la.. 50mm i think is abit over kill :P

for a cheaper solution, manifold u may potong ur ori and customize the connector n wastegate pipe.. or complete customize the manifold itself too... if got budget, go for complete aftermarket manifold with wastegate outlet...

as for as i know, cracking is a matter of time only no matter what kind of manifold u hv.. (except the ori casting la) :) my aftermarket manifold was rewelded twise already :P

Normally stock std Evo dun not need a wastegate... Ori actuator wil b enough for stabilising de turbo boost unless a new actuator is needed when de old 1 spring rate hving problem... If u change to bigger turbo, then there r packages which including de wastegate too...

Normally for stage 1 upgarde, v do de Air filter, full exhuast system (manifold, turbo outlet, front pipi, de-car n exhuast), pipings (intercooler / radiator), all kinda electronics meters for monitoring, all kinda strengthening bars, ECU, suspension, Racing clutch n etc... Depends on what u wanna for ur car... So for ur case, mayb try air filter n full exhuast system 1st... Then a boost controller, Racing clutch n an ECU wil do... Hehe... Jus my 2 cents! :_: and Yep, tht 5 figures thingy actually doesnt contribute much!!! Haha...

S9, he bought it with the manifold + outlet + d/p + heat shield. Rm4K+ i think around there la since outlet + d/p already 1-2k+ ma.

HKS? I tot HKS one comes with turbo and intake also? Wonder whether they have just the manifold + wastegate + outlet + d/p.

Yep, HKS did sell de manifold + wastegate in seperate package!!! They do hv de outlet + front pipe package too... I saw all this from Jap mag. la... Sure got!!!

Oh, no wonder la... U r adding up de turbo outlet + front pipe together with de Tomei manifold... Haha... Yeah, then it shld comes up to rm4k+...

Wastegate me not so familiar with cos i dun hv 1 with me in my car... Haha... But if u wanna to install 1 make sure its a reliable 1... Cos it stabilize de boost where if it fail ur engine wil 'Booooooooommmm...' Yeah, check de spring rate!!! :_:

don't forget to upgrade the turbo elbow (or turbo outlet / up-pipe) while you're on it. it'll greatly improve your exhaust flow...

1. Manifold with wastegate n turbo outlet with front pipe r 2 diff package!!! Unless u buy it all seperately...

2. As usual, go try ur luck at SS Racing, N1, KSP n few other shops in Sunway lo... Sometimes see them got it, but not sure they r sold or not... Or b4 going, call up n ask 1st! :_:
