all this comes to down 1 single thing . if you ask my opinion .
nobody is born bad or born to be bad . this is all caused by poverty in our country .
poor family most of the time.no money to provide proper education , proper food and shelter.
no money = frustration , broken families,kids grow up looking at wrong things or with a bad childhood . its sad to see all this , you think any1 want to rob or steal if they have the basic necessity ?
so end of the day what happens, kids go in the wrong direction mix with wrong ppl who they often refer to "abang angkat" or bro or clan lord who is full of shit also and show a very bad example to kids who end up as druggies , alcoholics gangsters and end up doing this kinda things . What happens when they get caught for small time crimes , they become labeled as useless . nobody give them job and what happens next ?

There are few or no study about poverty and street crimes in Malaysia. Look, nowadays the motivations of crime are very different from one to another. One robs because there is simply no more opportunity for him. Another robs because wanting to achieve higher level of socioeconomic status. Put our sight higher, why does politicians and businessmen in corruption? Definitely not because they are poor.
If the poor commits street crimes because of poverty, then the rich who are corrupted must bear the blame too because corruption takes away the opportunities meant for the poor. It is like pay back coming to haunt them the way they never thought of.
Just some of my insignificant self thought opinion.
