Perodua Viva extractor modification

Hi guys,I am new here and also quite new to car modifications. First of all,I'm driving a Perodua Viva 850cc manual. I am planning to change the extractor of my car to a 3-1 extractor. I am wondering what good will it do to my car? And btw,I am using stock exhaust system. Currently low in budget to change the whole exhaust system.

Oh what is the difference between 3-2-1 and 3-1? I heard that 3-1 will be better for pickup during acceleration,is that true?
