damnnn... who da hell made these lines... no brains at all... it was made
at the left side before the cut in to the NPE tunnel out to prevent people
from fast cutting into the right lane onto the fast highway from the tunnel..
cant they just use speed bumps or rubber pole dividers instead....

Everytime my car pass through, I think my whole interior would fall down,
i think the person who made these lines is a prankster, might as well
do a 90 degrees up & down square dropoff instead like those u find in
Mario brothers game... inside one maybe put a power-up mushroom
so my car can turn into a 350hp monster for 30 secs....

yah... whenever i go over that area my hp which is sitting on a Recaro Seat holder will commit suicide (fall off). my glove compartment will drop open n my CD player will skip

I know what u mean. I has become even worst for me after I changed my shocks to TITAN. I get the same jolt as you but multiply it many times due to my harder coilovers...sigh <_<

it's meant to slow yer car down... if it's as noisy as u said it is.. means u're still driving at a higher speed than recommended... slow down dude...

wooo hooo....

the man has said it.....

if u're in a hurry.. or is sick and tired of the stripes...

here's a tip:

after u've entered the 'big yellow line zone'... u'll only be running on 5 of the lines.. u can immediately change to the left lane, or right lane which is free of these thick lines.. (becareful of on-coming traffic..and make sure u signal first)...

Dude, who said anything about going very fast on those lines? Even in my sister's stock suspension satria and my mom's honda city, the effect is still the same... u get shaken up pretty bad even at slow speed.

I think the person who drew those lines added extra layer or something. I think this yellow lines at sunway spot is pretty famous now. If u ask anybody who lives around that area, chance are they will say the same thing as me.

yup agree....
its a damn f*&king stupid stripes.... everytime i pass by that road have to drive damn slow... if not my car will experience Tsumani

InitialD : well, by chances are, it could have cut down lots of accidents and no one actually knows it.. they know how to complain .. bitch about it.. and be pissed about it.... not appreciating it...

At first i've complained alot about it too... till after sometime, i noticed that it actually is very effective in cutting down speeds of oncoming vehicles.... speed bumps? noticed that cars only stop when they are infront of the speed bumps and the cars at the back of the car infront never slows down till they are inches away? with these lines.. the cars have no choice but to slow down too....

Think, analyze before u blow it off....

Wat's abit of rattling and shake compared to a boom and a bang?

BlackHowling, I am glad that you also came to realize the benefit of those yellow strip lines.

Guys, the lines are there to prevent people from going too fast and hopefully it will reduce accidents there. There is some good to it.

BlackHowling, any tips on how to reduced the uncomfortable rattle due to those hard yellow lines there?

iD: i've already stated that it's for safety reasons... i aint complaining... and i never said anything about anybody going fast on those lanes.. i'm saying slow down to cut down on the rattling and hums when u go over these lines.... dat's d only way to reduce it....

I concur that the yellow strips are quite irritating and will probably do more harm than good to our local car suspension. In fact, now that it's overly rough, more people will take risks by trying to avoid it (like diving into the NPE early).

Actually, whoever plans these stripes doesn't really think of the safety of vehicles rolling over them. Who the hell thought of putting them at the apex of the turn? This will just cause more cars to hop and lose traction. Be smarter a bit la...put it before the corner. It's meant to warn and wake people up, not kill them or destroy their suspension.

An early warning musical system like the one in Thailand, I feel is more intelligent and practical; as it actually tells you where the braking and turning points are.

haha Yea same problem here.. that lines are crazy.. dunno why they made so bad.. i will go so bloody slow till ppl will horn from behind.. who cares.. they dont have tein in their car.. they dont feel it :P

Prozac, is there really such a thing as early warning musical system? It would be interesting to see how it works here.

I'm just wondering, how does those yellow line work? I mean.. how are they constructed? Do they put any thing on the ground and then paint those yellow lines over it? What do they put in order to make us feel those uncomfortable vibrations when we go over it?

What makes the one in Sunway so different as compared to the same yellow lines anywhere else?
