WTB : gbox for my b8 engine

recently install the 210 engine.. and my mech said that the gbox has been lock...
dunno la if he fools me or what... but when i see below my car... the axle connector still pusing2....

so my plan is to get another gbox.. preferable for 1.8 with lsd...

bro if ur looking for lsd for b8 is very hard to find now day
bro as far as i know b8 we cannot use the 4wd gearbox it cannot be locked n the car wont have power......every b8 user will get a 2wheel g/b
try getting ur hand on a B6T 2 wheel g/b or either a TX3 g/b this 2 gear box are the best for b8 turbo
if ur really want to get it let pm me i can try to get u
the gear box price is around 2k now

b8 210 is DAMN POWERFULL....... from pick up to top speed n also for long distance

yup..210 is powerful,can makan evo if tuning is right.
mine b8(on BF body),use tx3 1.8 lsd g/b.. thank god,its already 8years and still strong.
not a single major problem wit dat g/b(hopefully...).
been using trust gear oil n hks lsd gear oil since..
pay extra for the oil..but last long.

I bought rm5.5k.... performance very ok after i use safc.... no other mod...
i/c still kecik mah... pick up so far ok... long distance quite save ur petrol...
can play with gsr turbo n oso vr4....

used to be 180,after engine kong(twice)..got this 210 block,maintain 180 wiring.
not so gud match really..prefered std 180.more powerful than this block that im having.

so far i know...nope.no stroker kit for b8.but can use sr20 pistons+mazda miata crankshaft= same like b8 stoker kit,i guess.

aiyo bro dont use sr20 piston la ur block will be so thin n can crak ur block ....better save a bit more money n buy forged pistons n put inside if ur going above 300whp ......to so call stroke the b8 engine is by putting in bigger piston like for exemple is use a 84.5mm pistons ur car will be around 19++cc that means almost 1.9L or close to 2L already must calculate again....
but my mechanic said standard b8 180 internals can hold up to 300whp( but need to use b6T or 210 conrods) and 210 can hold till 350whp

true to that about the conrods, i know a friend who used wiseco forged piston attached to 210 conrods and it manage to push to 400hp on wheels during a dyno run!

tx3 gearbox still one of the strongest gearboxes for B8 engines, although no lsd. if you're lucky, you can get from japan/aussie a tx3 lsd gearbox but it will cost you a bomb. there was a guy selling it in puchong last year for almost 4k... rare item mah...

he was using microtech LT10, turbo AR80 (bushing type), with many other mods he didn't tell me about. very well built car! i bought his rebuilt TX3 Gbox from him after he sold off that engine, very nice ratio for hi-end.. but i have no idea wut gear ratios he put inside

rajie, very earger to meet u la.. another Tx3 B8 kaki. very rare already around this region... so far in sunway area, i only met 1 serious Tx3 dude, Thomas (GT Auto).. i wonder if there are any others out there...:wavey:
