Wta : Hks Type S I/c

guys,

is anyone know whether the hks type s intercooler for e9 can directly plug and play into e8 without chnaging the intercooler piping....????

How much is that i/c selling ??where can i get it beside N1......

if the piping came with the hks intercooler for evo 9 then u dun need to mod it to fix ur car.if the intercooler doesn come with piping then sure ur stock piping cant fit

Have a look at the HKS type-S intercooler.......... You'll see that it's bigger in size, so original piping wont match the inlet of the HKS intercooler........ Besides that Greddy, HKS and etc don't normally sell just the intercooler, they sell the full kit with aluminium piping...... Don't forget that the aluminium piping is a lot lighter and has better flow of air.........

thank for ur info....but then if using those silicon hose where both end also different size one also cannot?? i do try to measure the lenght before...is fitted....maybe only need to cut the stock piping shorter or .... i only wan to see whther the inlet can be same level with the sotck piping or not....

By the way, this type s i/c do selling only the i/c only....and the piping selling itself as well... i did saw lot those kit selling out there...but the size is not suitable for my car...and i afriad using the kit's piping cannot use again after i change my turbo kit.....

Coz i did ask desmond (N1) before...he said might able to mod in with the stock piping....that why i asking is therea nyone come over this before or not lo...

But where are you gonna buy intercooler without piping?? 2nd hand??

If you planned to use the original piping, you might have to spend few hundreds to customise some pipings and silicon hose.......

If you choose to upgrade the turbo kit, only pipe connected to turbo will be affected, a slight mod will cover it.....

This hks type s got selling only the i/c only.....N1 is selling around 3k....that why wanna see any other place got sell or not ....
the hks typs s size is 600mm X 301mm X 65mm core
