When a german machine crashes into a japanese machine

I was driving along jalan raja chulan at 3.30 am and gave my signal to turn right, and then suddenly, an AUDI A4 whacked me from behind.

I stop at the side and that AUDI A4 driver also stop aside.

And then i come out and shout at him, of course la your car accident what.

Then when he talking to me i smell his mouth and he was drunk, and then i tell him lets go to police station make a report, but then he was scared and say lets settle it over here.

And then i tell him la my bumper all rosak already.

So since he scared i go to police, right there and then he give me RM 1k for damages.


So i take the money, and he said,if got any more extra when u repair, call him and then he will come and bring the extra money.

And lastly he told me "IM SUPRISED HOW A JAPANESE MACHINE CAN OUTWIN A GERMAN MACHINE"

Look at the damage he took and look at the damage i took, his whole fender was gone while my bumper i just went home and bang it back inside and send for polishing

But still planning to repaint the whole car at the end of this year :wavey:

Memang ada balance banyak, but if change to original honda bumper, still around 1k, but if send to workshop around rm300ony.

I cudnt avoid that accident what.
I already gave my signal all nicely and following the rules, and this drunk guy bang me from behind.

fenders are softer than the corner of the car, mainly, impact distribution is more equal n spread at the corners

fenders dont have reinforcements underneath aka tulang unless its the hood,roof n bootlid

agree tat...and ur lucky as i see it may be the 'correct accident angle' which had minimise/avoid more serious damage on both cars...

remember, a drunked driver may just whack kao u and nex day said 'i was influenced by alkohol tat time'...

the fron is meant to absorb impact...my city rear also kena the same thing...bcoz honda use clips for their bumper....the bumper just come out from the original place but just use ur hand n push it back into the clips then no prob edi...happen 2 my rear a few times liaw

from my experience ..its not about where ur car made but its about how you bang it ..the front is meant to absorb impact like wat yong 5290 said .there was once , my old wira was banged from behind , then i banged the front car ..the front car was 97 year accord ..felt so shocked when i looked at da accord's rear part...badly damaged ...but my wira's front oni broken number plate and light scratches . malaysia boleh ?
