Whats the problems with Proton?

The Top Gear Jeremy always mention Lotus is owned by Proton and Lotus is making one hell of a great Lotus car. While Proton is making a whole load of cheap plastic rubbish car, so many years of investment and they come out with shit design. They always use the proton to associate with Lotus, telling all the future buyer its Lotus tuned suspensionla this la that la but we still don't get a proper car like Lotus. Why they didn't straight bring in the Lotus into Malaysia for us to enjoy? Or are they scare they will kill Proton when they bring Lotus in at a price everyone can afford,and no body would want to have anything to do with Proton?:angry_smile:

Well.. at least those wajalution and wiralution guys no need to 'disguise' their cars already.. with a new platform, they can actually convert to full mitsubishi spec, not half-way clone of like most wajalutions.

To me Potong is like a parasite to Lotus.. taking all the hard work and reputation Lotus has established for so many years.. Almost every Potong model must mention Lotus this Lotus that.. what Lotus inspired design..ugh...this sickens me..yes Lotus is responsible for design and handling..but what about the rest of the car? but at least i can c Potong is improving by a little now..just hope the new Neo can live up to its our expectation due to its promising advert :: peace

I think Proton should just STFU and humble themselves. Admit all their lousy shitty production quality failure, and people will start to drop a little bit of hatred towards them. They are boasting way too much for cars that are nothing more than a fish in aluminium foil over the roasting grill.

After admitting their obvious production mistakes, improve it and give us the prices that ought to be paid for a local car. Not bloody RM52k for a new plastic-ky satria neo. Honestly, I'd pay only RM15k for satria neo 1.6L manual HL. Tops, probably RM20k. And since the top spot for most vehicle sales is held by Proton every year, they should be fishing out more profit to improve themselves. Well, this, of course, is based on the assumption that the pigs on the top of proton doesn't play corruption games and let the money go to where it should go.

From there, we will see how those pigs handle the company and then only comment further.

my uncle bought a perdana recently, didnt check the list throughly when he bought it, after buying it, he asked the sales person, "got air bag ar?" salesperson replied "dun have la sir" to which my uncle enquired, why not since the new waja has airbag. reply? "perdana is old model, no airbag one, proton la" fucking hell, PROTON la is the answer to any question the salesperson cant answer. try asking why the car has so many defects, why power window break down, why central lock not working, why so plasticky, u get my drift la, the answer is PROTON laaa.... chau chi baiiiii

Actually, the problem doesn't just happen on Proton. Any big company run by those so call "new generation" (which goverment provide them scholarship to study oversea and graduate at famous university) mostly will end up like mess.

We have so many example out there, MAS, UEM, Tenaga, University in Malaysia, GOVERMENT and etc. I won't believe no one in the country can't run big company/organisation, but because of skin colour and race, top node and senior management level is full of monkey who can nothing but monkey show.

No matter how healthy is your brain, if your leg and hands doesn't understand your instruction clear and take what ever nessesary action, you can't even eat the bowl of rice lay in front of you, person who sit next to you will just grab the rice and enjoy it while you are struggling to order your hand to take the spoon,

PS: There so many good scholar who score their STPM with flying colour and get their full scholarship at Singapore, Australia, UK and many more country, but in Malaysia, they can't even have a change to study the subject they wish. (Forrest Science, WTF is that?!)
