well guy,

actually i'm planning to install turbo timer for my car...
but the main purpose of the turbo timer is not for engine cooling but more on auto-start function...

i want my car to be started automatically in the morning so that i don need to wait for the engine to warm up... just start and cabut...

but the problem is my car using immobiliser whereby i need to touch something like small stick to my ignition switch before my car can be started.

the problem is... if i install a turbo timer, is it possible for the turbo timer to execute the auto start function during the immobiliser still on?

btw, what is the best turbo timer in the market? with good price and nice design..
or maybe someone here selling it? :D

tq.

apexi pen timer dun have auto start function one...
correct me if i'm wrong...

anyway...i got one unit of apexi timer if u are interested...

Interesting... hattech-v. I want to know also. :P

oit apa la abang ni....i never told him apexi pen type timer got auto start leerrrr....just the timer only lerrr....

if he want just buy the 2 way alarm system....

...now i'm using auto + manual timer...ahakssss...just wait 2 or 3 minutes before switch off the engine also could be a timer.....

then will the auto-start function properly even the car equipped with immobiliser?

anyone tried b4?

yes...i bro's car now using 2 way alarm+immo+apexi timer...but one hell of wiring work done...2 days. now works fine i think...but very troublesome to use lar...

like viper ke?

how much aaa?

Viper about 1000-1500 i think, but that is so long ago. Regarding the immobilizer, somebody I know has installed it while using immobilizer, but its the type where u start your car first then do the secret code/press whatever. In the case where u have to do something b4 even starting, I'm not sure, but theres definitely a way around it.

makes me wonder one more thing.. if u start ur car thru remote right.. then since your engine edi started.. you insert your key, have to crank it ??? *blurrr*

eh can i tumpang ur thread ar....i m using clifford wif black jax 4 immo...when i tried to install the turbo timer, after i took out the key, the engine still running, then i arm the car, then suddenly my alarm gives out shock sensor warning, then warning again, then when the car engine dies, the alarm will blast 99...

so how ar...any way of solving this problem...(BTW the TT was PIVOT baby timer)

Might as well go for 2-way alarm system. Has the remote start function and can start from distance. I think one of the cheapest is Radiostar which is advertising here on ZTH. RM700 like that. Another quite popular one is Boomerang. That one is about RM1k. There are quite a few other brands, but be prepared to spend between RM700-1500.
