can anyone tell me what type of pipe is use to make a custom manifold?
where can i get it?

stainless steel 304..u can get it from the exhaust shop near ur place..

bro, wat ngine u using?..y don't u buy those ready made 'banana", nonit so much hassle..most of the "banana" manifold using stainless steel 304 with 3mm thickness..i think it shud be ok since so many ppl using it..

"banana" is a custom manifold....more of value if buy with ur special order......not buy with ready made manifold.....should have with ur own design.........

U can do it yourself. Buy elbows and customize the exhaust flange. If posible, make sure u make all the runners same length. Better for performance and turbine pulse reaction.


ready mades are ok if u can find 1 for mini. However, the china's external welding looks good. But bananas(tubular manifold) have a common problem. Crack in time. Interlock them with additional reinforcement. Should last you longer.
