top speed with auto question

guys,

yesterday i just test the top speed on my car. it reached above the 180++ a lightly after the KM/H wording.

the question is, when i drove the car at that speed, i'm not sure what gear i was in. but the rev counter already on 7k and it's already kicking back. is this normal? or i was still in 4th gear ? when that happened i just let go of the paddle. takut something else went wrong.

even already stolen, but still remember clearly, coz i get it to top speed every day :_: ..
7000plus rpm on ur case and speed is 4th gear it will turn to 5th gear if u let go the trottle a little n can maintain 18+km/h at 4850-4900 rpm. it mean u can actually cruise at v-max and still not 100% on trottle. current car even had hard time to reach 190/ not to even mention crusing at 190.. sigh.. miss my car ..:X-:

No no no.. can have a variable of 4th gear or 5th gear on 190kmh... if u rev it hard then it will be on 4th gear around 7000rpm as u mention.. but if u just wanna cruise at that speed, let go the trottle by maybe 20%, then it will shift to 5th gear on 4900 rpm at the same speed of 190kmh.. understand now my friend?

if on 7krpm for sure is 4th gear...............if u try to control your throttle also didnt respone then should check the gearbox......

I have tried with the kmh needle pointing at 6 o,clock but dont know the reading

When I had the HKS II SLD installed in my car at Links...they dyno the car to test if the SLD works...and they ran the car until the speedometer stops at 6'oclock position..but don't know what is the actual speed lah...coz did not look at the computer..too engross in the testing and the sound of the exhaust at about 4,500 rpm...hehehe

kinda off, but as suggestion. wanna test ur top speed ? no hustle, mrr2 from tasik selatan to bukit jalil. under the super huge samsung advertisment board beside carefour seri petaling. can test it there with no fear of speed trap camera , coz i did it every day while ruturning home n havent receive any ticket. stretch is around 2.5k.. achive top in 5th gear? y not? calculated, when needle touch around 6 o'clock, its equal around 220-230 kmh...

as far as im concerned ... the top speed for the altezza, irrespective of type of tranny is around 245-250 kmph ...

do u guys realise 1 thing ... it is not how fast u can drive really matter ... it is a matter of how fast u can achieve that is the most important thing

250kmh? yea, too much,about the time, i did clock it quite often previously .0-190 was about constant 30-33second on flat road.rather reach faster even if its 225kmh max. some1 once told me to get the closer final drive. he say torque will add also on that way. any1 tried? on theory he may be right.

yeah.. one of our members added the 4.7 final drive.. Acceleration on auto increase superbly.. tried with him.. kena tapau haha..

I wanted to know what 's my topspeed...
Ive asked N1 staff for the meter reading issues..the guy said don't waste our money to install addtional meter after fixing the HKS sld. Unless get the TRD meter fixed.
