Superstrut suspension and ABS for SEG ????

please help !!!!!!!!!

i got a set of super strut suspension for ae101 SEG... i wonder which wan is better to put in my seg compare with the stock 1....

many ppl said super strut is a monster suspension where the handling is much more better than stock wan.....very good in cornering ...dun hav many problem ... izzit true?

i know the problem is the abs very difficult to find ... but the chop shop ppl can sell another 1 for me spare.... keke..,..

and ABS system izzit better to hav or dun wan it ... i also hav a set of ABS system... any problem...


pls giv some advice and opinion.....

SS=superstrut is a suspension system.You have to change the whole suspension to SS.then only u can use.normal seg is using mcpherson.There is NO way SS absorber can be use in mcpherson system.

SS is not monster suspension.SS also got alot of problem.mainly ball joint due to our superb road condition.

ABS,yes,,better....but there is some mod need to be done to install it to non abs car

installation wise no need worry.... SS and ABS come in whole halfcut ori 4 door seg..wiring, abs, cross member all got ... but the chop shop ppl said SS is better .....

now i dunno wan SS or exchange back to normal to normal suspension with the chopshop ppl...

seriously, im all in comfort person. but SS never failed me. As i also nvr regret. the handling was superb...

ur car will feel bumpy or not..

my car got no ABS system but i do know ABS can work with SS as my mech having it in his car.

Im using stock SS absorber. It felt great already. Indeed very much diff from stock. No, its not bumpy at all..

One words, with superstrut suspension system, if due to the condition and surface of the road, if the road condition bad.... ball join easy spoiled due it all running bail join type. Cornering of course good since the ss chassis is heavy so it help on the gravity of grabbing and ball join act like soft bone. But if compare to the life time with the mcpherson type absorber, of course the mcpherson absorber is easy to take care, less hassel and less $$$ out too....depend on how the owner pocket money is and did he mind about maintainance lorrrr.

I got few friends putting on the superstrut on seg, but finally they all took out and dump aside, put back the mcpherson system with stablelizer bar type. Happy and no more worries about $$$ lorr...

Banzai bro, here got a guy success putting the seg ss system into ae92, damn he can do it, can't believe in MY EYES!!!!! just u willing to let ur ae92 chassis drill some holes or not lorrrr....hhahaahahaha.....for me, I WON'T!!!!!

check some other thread. SS mmg akan ada problem. depends on LUCK and driving habits. i believe some of us are using SS, and on the other thread, some revealed they have minor problem. McP dont have problems kah? hehehhe .. obviously im SS fan....

which pomen want to hook ABS? i also want to pasang my ABS. how much doest it cost? my first pomen only want to hook it, unfinished business, he cabut already. went to several pomen after that, semua cakap 'aya, tak bagus itu ABS. u suda biasa dgn normal brake, nanti tak buleh brake during emergency time' or 'if one of the brake disk with ABS tak jalan or stuck, ABS langsung tak buleh brake the whole car....'
to think about it again, whats the use of technology without applying it? at least try, baru buleh compare.

trd_ae92....lucky on my ss n abs setup totally can fitted into my seg without drill my car body.. if so.. i also dun let my car being drilled .. keke...$$$ wise to maintain SS system... i believe all system also got tis problem,.. rough driving = maintaince high....


but 1 think i wan to ask... the drive shaft izzit same for SS is with the macpher system ga???all totally differ...ball joint wise can buy new wan or chop shop???


n0thin.... i had no Idea about price for ABS system.. but i know it need many parts in order to make the abs run... contoller, abs propotional valve(pump), disc brake with abs.. etc.. i think i had all this thinng lo..

i thiink ABS is better during emergency brake .. can try also .. if not ngam .. then buka throw it lo.. keke
