After using it for over 2 years..I decided that we should try this supercharger concept onto proton cars and develope it as a bolt on kit, simple and sweet, as I believe many end user are just like me.....desperately in need of low end torque at the right rpm's for daily driving...Thats how it all started... :rolleyes: ..Back to your questions On the Kembara issue...There was once a kembara that was equipt with a sprintex supercharger modded in australia but brought back to Malaysia as a sample car, it was using OEM engine..Just + the sc unit and some mods here and there...It blew pistons twice and the power was average and not to my liking....at that time I could compare it to mine as it was running a supercharged engine, plus the cost involved was rather high... I'm not saying that the kembara engine could not take a sc unit but it's just that we have not done one before...Mine was an engine transplant from the 4agze and not oem bolt on...
