My car was in front of Gerard's SC SGTi during the entire Phuket convoy. Those never driven in single file convoy will never no the among of stress and punishment put to our cars. High speed on highways and constantly down/up shifting gears on village twisty bends in southern Thailand. Any highly moded sgti(force induction especially) not able to clock at least 380km full tank are not encourage to participate in the convoy. In the end it turned out that the sc sgti had the best fuel consumption and even better than stock gti. We have to keep down shifting to keep up with the convoy where as the sc sgti has plenty of torque and seldom need to use its lower gears.What Gerard wrote about his sc sgti was true and it didn't give any problems during the entire trip. At that time the SC kit was still in its R&D stage and the Phuket trip was the acid test for its reliability. Note: I am not affiliated to Gerard's workshop and I don't come out with him for drinks or chit chatting, not even once. I don't get anything from him for writing this but just want to uphold the truth.</blockquote>

RE AMEMIYA coming to Sunway

Hey everyone,

RE Amemiya people will be coming to Wangan Racing in Bandar Sunway.
Tentatively it is in July.

They will be coming to tune FD3S and RX-8.

sifus, care to explain how to read the readings. All i know if the temp reach above 800'c the car running lean and will destroy the engine and the turbo. is it true?
