subwoofer material

Hi All,

anybody know where to get 1" pre-cut MDF board for subwoofer in PENANG? I have been searching everywhere. want to make my own sub. could only find 3/4" one in hardware store.

not cut also can.

that is not called subwoofer material.... thats the subwoofer ENCLOSURE material...

1" thick MDF n other boards come in 4ft x 8ft sizes... some shop may cut into smaller pieces for u... some just sell the whole piece...

try some bigger hardware shop...

anyway, in penang i found the pre-cut MDF board. it's about 1cm thick. too thin for even a screw. i'm trying to find a thicker one maybe 1" or 1.25".

most hardware store don't stock them even the larger ones. where can you get it in KL. some addresses would be great as i'm going to KL soon.

1" thick would be good enough... sound very good already... n very heavy already.. using thicker board will make ur car sag alot.... my 1" thick sub enclosure already made my stock suspension look like lowered...

KL?? hmm i have never go n find it b4... so i'm not sure... well u can try audio shops that fabricate sub enclosure.... they use lots of MDF...

Where can I buy MDF board? I am looking for it? Any idea? My place hardware shop doesn't sell it. I am in KL BTW. Please PM me the address of hardware shop that sells MDF board. Size and thickness doesn't matter.
