Hi, i'm using SO4 Sohc Vtec and would like to seek advice from you guys those expertise in Honda. Currently i'm still not satisfied with my car performance although no major problem with my car. There's engine modification is being done with my car, just need you guys advice whether is there any ways to optimize the current engine performance. Maybe tuning.... or something else... Thanks.

change ur spark plug, spark plug cable, air filter, grounding, xtractor, muffler................for 1st step..:X-:

Thanks, all done except muffler. I'm using 421 extractor. Is it possible to change racing plug?? Will it be different in term of speed & accelerate?

wat kind of sprkplug u use for now & later u wish to change??? if u put in Real Racing Plug, i think ur radiator & njin will overheat.

Oic, the current one is normal spark plug. That's mean the real racing plug is not adviceable to use for normal radiator, right? Unless is double side radiator is it?

go to greedy at sunway friend's shop...
they can tune your car... more lighter
i done my car tuning there!

racing plugs are normally at low heat range.... they're cold plugs.

where got effect to radiator?

In that case, it doesn' affect the radiator right?

But one thing is the petrol consumption will be increased definitely...

racing plugs having a HIGHER operating tempature, higher heat range (7/8).... normal is around 5/6... but the higher heat range racing plugs are called "Cold Plugs"

Ur engine will be able to handle them without needing to change radiator or something like that, but... u'll experience jerking as the plugs only fire at high rpms (high tempature, like in race engines)

Do i need to change double side radiator or something else if i change racing plug??

Greatings guys,
just wanna know what brand/type of spark plug/cable suitable exctly for standard B16A which can pull out a little bit power engage...i heard for some different opinion before..to much appreaciated on your sharing guys...Big thx

no.... it does NOT affect the heating of the car.... ur car will NOT overheat using racing plugs... you DO NOT need to upgrade radiator....

in a normal engine, with racing plugs... it just means THE PLUGS will not be able to work optimumly, as ur "normal" engine does not produce as much heat as compared to a race/modified engine... when the plugs don't work optimally (within its operating range)... its does not fire properly... ur car jerks... but at higher RPMs when the temp is higher and its enter the heat range of the plugs, it will start working properly....

it can also be the case, where you have a heavily modified engine and your use normal plugs... the engine can cause the plugs to EXCEED its heat range and the plug will also NOT fire properly.... thats why race/modified engine require racing plugs of a higher heat range... (cold plugs)

this is the part that has mislead the topic. that is why CA GAN is confused about changin sparkplugs and worrying for his radiator at the same time.

the debate between the blue NGKs and the red ULTRA cables will be a no end story. also the iridium vs iriway. too much butt dyno. i would say any colour u choose from those 2 cable brand or sparkplugs, it creates better efficiency for your sparks. what ever it is, it's been jolted by your distributor which is factory standard anyway.

can u tell more specific detail on xtractor and muffler? assuming sohc vetc 1.5(A), how many inch for piping, how big the muffler tip, any gud muffler type which give the max performance n etc. thanx.

hey neorex where are you located?
let come out chit chat about this sohc ,
i am drivin a sohc 1.6 no tec 1!!!!
