Smart4four VS Myvi, heaven and earth?

any comment on smart4four vs Myvi? just wanted to know, cos both also 1.3, both also NA, size is about the same, price is different alot, quality wise, i have no idea. so wat do u think?

but the Myvi quality is also not bad rite as far as i know........is way better than other car for the same price. chrysler is very good in producing cars? i tot japanese is better than chrysler, dun compare with other make like BMW or porsche la.

SmartCar vs Myvi? I personally find it hard to compare because it seems to be, somewhat, of different class/category/whatever.

I think SmartCar is not meant to be driven on high speed ler. hehehe It's suppose to be Smart, not powerful. Thus, we can just let go of the steering wheel and it should be smart enough to drive for us. hahahaha Else, it's not smart anymore. hehehe

I heard the panels on the doors of the SMART car can be easily removed so that you can change its color whenever u like.

I think in Malaysia, the SMART car door panels will be gone in minutes as soon as the vandals know about this unique feature.

err, i dunno whether this is true or not, my fren who work in si keong star under the maintenance one, he told me mercedes is a piece of junk, other ppl regconise it as a well establish car but inside, especially engine, is very very bad, as in oil leaking and so fourth. so, through my fren's information, i'm more skeptical bout the quality of mercerdes. wat more bout smart.

dunno lah now i drive myvi, but my dream car is smart forfour brabus... how? of coz smart forfour better lah... smart forfor brabus 177hp... hehehehehe but i think itz 1.5 already for the brabus model...

FYI the smart forfour is not based on the smart fortwo. its actually based on the mitsubishi colt CZ. it even uses the mitsu 4g15 engine (same like proton saga lah). its cute (but IMO the front looks like a catfish).

its sold as a cheap car in europe, so dont expect it to be the same quality as a mercedes.

its selling for around 120K for the 1.5 litre, around the same price as its colt CZ cousin.

the advantage is u can get a colt CZ 1.5 turbo halfcut and transplant it into the smart forfour!

True enuff both of these cars are in the same category but please do not forget they are in a different price bracket which makes comparison rather bias. Just like a Honda Accord which will always be compared with a Toyota Camry and can never be compared with an E Class or 5 series. They maybe off the same car category but the price bracket is different.

However, I do think the build quality of Mercedes/Daimler Chrysler Smart would anytime beat a Perodua Myvi. I'm a proud Malaysian but sometimes you just got to admit our car isn't in the same class as the continentals yet. And quite rightly said, the Smart cars aren't for you to whack on the highway. Comeon man, the wheelbase of that car is so small and its simply a fun car to drive around town, to easily zip into parking spaces. In short, its a funky little car that urbanites would love. If you don't want the floating fleeting and want something more stable, you should be getting a sedan or a coupe.

And this talk about Mercedes being a junk car, thats a whole lotta crap. You find that Mercedes probably makes one of the best cars in the world.

FYI, mercedes is not a joint venture wif DChrysler. Mercedes is OWNED by Daimler Chrysler. They also own Maybach.

Just like how BMW owns Mini brand and Rolls-Royce.

myvi n forfour 1.3 i think if compare outside malaysia, people we'll say just same only coz the gap price between this car not much different outside of malaysia especially in uk... but to compare myvi with forfour 1.5 brabus sure lah forfour 1.5 brabus better...

If without taxes this car only RM 115,055 only... n after ++++ with tax i think 300-400k.. damn gov taxes, feel like wanna imigrant to aussie hehehehe...

while 1.3 forfour only RM48+++ outside malaysia.. same price tag as myvi only...
