Sell or No Sell

Hi all,

Case Study.
17yr old SW20 thinking about reshaping.
I just went to a bodykit shop to get quote for my car. To strip off my current wide arches and do the TRD2000GT style for the rear or my car and some minor modifications to the front would set me back around RM3K.

Do you think it is worth the price? I hope this will be the last time i do my bodykit.

Alternative to the above would be to sell my SW20, and get on with life.

Vote which would you prefer.

Gurus, pls advise.

I too love my MR2, but sometimes get mix feelings for it.

Can everyone just discuss as to why you love MR2.
Pls state its a AW11, SW20, or ZZW30.
Just need someone, some words to reignite my fire inside.

Keep better lah......MR2 is something which u won't find in other cars. The thrills and spills of driving and maintaining an MR2 is just something u don't find everyday.
Selling your MR2 is up to u but if u don't need the cash than just keep it. : )

Many problems for 225 engine? Does ur friend drives and MR2?
Comeon lah. The engine's from yamaha and built to toyota QC.
Problems?

I own my SW20 225 turbo engine for almost 5yrs already. No major problems occur to me at all. Problems will only be there when u engaged a lousy mechanic to maintain or modify the engine/turbo.

If you really going for hard core power with big turbo or anything, both the 225 version and the 245 version are good.

Pls ask around more SW20 owners for their reviews on how their engine performed over the years.

Just my 2cents. Flame me if needed. I welcome that.

lets share my feelings.. though i am newbie.. hehe.. just own mr2 sw20 not more than 1 year.. i think around half year gua.. ha

anyway.. i am 20-year-old now,i bought my mr2 with half support from parents and my hard-save&earned-money... its so tough for me to convince my parents so that they allow me to buy mr2...

i donno why i like this car so much.. aha... LOVE is for others... too bad.. i LIKE my mr2 very very much and i am so glad to own one... its just mysterious..
honestly saying.. i donno wat is mr2 be4 october 2006... haha.. living 19years and 10months without knowing wat is mr2.. then i saw mr2 on the road.. then i search on the internet.. wahlao.. i just fall in LIKE with it... LIKE in first sight.. haha. the feeling is just like I FOUND!!! haha..

anyway.. the mr2 though oldie machine.. i knew that.. 15years old d.. but just too freaking like it.. haha.

by the way... if no one selling.. my fren cant get one lor.. haha.. their budgets are low.. haha.. 2 guy looking for mr2.. hehe.. just wish them luck man~~
