Hello everyone got nothing to do so just surf around n found this video on youtube a Touge Battle between Seeker EG6 and Amuse S2300GT1..
The EG had 235ps (dunno atw o not) and weighted 920kg..can we make it a daily driven car with this weight? and anyone here know what mod done to this engine? is it a K20A-R? BTW that S2K is really SICK.

Enjoy Honda fans..

Enjoy Honda fans..

230atw with a b20... not that difficult nor expensive.

230atw is about the K20R with upgraded intake and exhaust... not that cheap.

Could be.. b16b with 232 whp is quite crazy though.. how did he do it?

if i'm not mistaken that seeker eg6 is b16b with stroker kit 1.8
its in one of the hot version dunno which episode..

*yeah after check my hot version collection, its in the version 83, where they reviewed Suzuki Swift JWRC, seeker eg 6 beat that car.. its written B16B @ 1800 cc, 235 ps, FF, 920 kg.

Hahaha.. or lucky, or this guy is already better than Spoon's mechanics that only got 200ps out of a B16B.. at 11,000 rpm.

AFAIK,
d SEEKER EG(red kaler,right?) has a 2L stroker kit in it...coupled w B16B conrod(YES,B16B CONROD) w custom OMEGA pistons(manufactured in UK up 2 SEEKERS' specs)....n yes,d claimed horsepower is very true...atw...no fluke...
n just 2 share w u guys,a fren enquired abt d pistons b4..ard RM7K,just 4 d pistons alone...not inclusive of piston rings..any1 wan 'em?hehehehhee

bro akuma, its 1.8 not 2L..

ok here SEEKER Official Web Page

see the seeker eg6 engine done by K-TECH

and here K-TECH http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/k-tech/

hee hee its 600k YEN !! to convert ur b16b to become like seeker eg6 has!

-peace-

woopppsss..my bad...wat i mean is,d B16B in SEEKERS own garage is a 1.8L stroker...d 1 inside eater_eg6's EG6 is d 2L version.get it?

eater_eg6's eg is 2L?? wow.. hee hee.. real competitor for ur car huh?? :P j/k

*runnnnnnnnnn..

change stroker lah.... coz b16b can upgrade till 2.1 cc lah...

Er.. I have is question.
That one question is how?

Big stroke +short rod requires stronger sleeves.. sleeving work is $$$$$

Big bore is cheaper.. but you need 89mm stroke and 86mm pistons to do 2.1L.. which won't fit in the B18C stock sleeves.. even on the B20B block the sleeves (in between the pistons) are thin already at 86mm rebore, and probably prone to cracking if it ever sees some detonation or high cylinder pressures

But if retain piston size or 82mm (1mm oversize).. you'd need a crank that's around 98mm.. and will it fit?

Of course, if you do find out how to build a 2.1L engine on the B18C block on the cheap, I'm sure a lot of people 'would be interested'...

sorry bro but i'm curently using 84mm on my b18c5 haha..... y not send to thailand n change d sleeves is much more cheaper to US. Nothing is impossible.

ahhaaa..now i know bro grex_r recipe...hehehehe

confirm kenot cucuk2 laaa hihhi:P

Well that's not strange since someone here as well did 85mm on his.. I think you can spot the thread somewhere.

The question is.. how to get 2.1L in a B18C?

I think surely need to use strokers, because even 85mm with 87.2 crank makes 1979.3cc, with B20B 89mm crank makes 2020.1cc and I'm thinking the sleeves between the cylinders are like 4+mm left only with 85mm pistons..

So.. unless you go with B20B crank, then no 2.1L for you.. :P

which bring up a good point.. why go through all the trouble of not plonking in a B20B block? Want to belasah 1.8 fella's while pretending to be a 1.8 ah? :P

shiro,
exactly,sum ppl retain d B16B block 2 remain a "sleeper"..n also 2 avoid d hassle pf registering d new engine..furthermore,d B20 block is relatively weak,right?n Type R block's watter jacket is bigger...hence better cooling efficiency...dis is wat i've been told ler...i'd retain d B16B too if i haf 1......
