RB20det fuel problems

Sometimes you might even get leaky blowoffs.... bloddy rotten problem there really!</p><p></p><p>AS far as the idle is concerned, the main things that you wanna look at are the IACV and the Air Regulator. If you've just got a used engine, remove the IACV and clean the bugger with some engine degreaser. Also when you remove it, ensure that the spring is closing the plunger all the way. The Air Regulators also tend to get clogged with oil/air mist sometimes so that's worth a quick check too. If your mechanic has any of these lying around then do a swap and see if it makes a diff. </p><p></p><p>Oh and when buying a replacment IACV or Air Regulator take a sample with you since these things have different sockets for different generations of the same engine!</p><p></p><p>Good luck!</p><p></p><p></p><p>Ugh... all this sounds way too familiar....</p></blockquote><p></p>
