Hi guys,

Just want to know if both car about the same price which one will you get and why. Cos now i'm in dilemma to buy which one. BTW i'm staying in overseas and hope that one day i'll bring back the car.

thanks:biggrin:

common sense dictates that u should buy the newer car. less reliability issue (R32 crank collar issue rectified in R33) etc etc

i would buy R32 cos it looks so fierce hehe

Yea i love r32Gtr better. But heard of so many problems with this version of engine compare to r33gtr. I dun want my car to spend most of it's time in workshop.

what about r32gtr support in Malaysia? AS in knowledge, skills and parts to back up? Die die also want to get a r32. Even the headlamp of r33gtr turns me off.

spare parts n performance parts are very easy to source. and there are many reputable workshops here that can handle GTRs...

go for it and dont look back! hehe

I think R32GTR are very rare in Malaysia? Say a 1994 model.

ooopppsss!!! I think i'll stick with R33 GTR.... more reliable. Thanks guys!! Hope by sitting in the R33GTr gives me a timber.kekekekekek

Personally, the 32 would be more race orientated, no bullshit racecar. Tight-tracks I think the 32 would be even easier to point than a 34, but long fasts may not be ideal with the very short wheelbase.

I would go for the 32, minus the bulky HICAS, and build the engine with a 33, or 34 crankshaft. Can't do much with the slower ATTESA though.

The 33 is like driving one of the early model Volvo, with 280hp on the foot ...

The 34, you pay the premium with a pretty complete package as it was built between the 32 and 33 ...

hail eddie, i cant say it any better..:adore::adore::adore::adore:

My main purpose is not for racing or track oriented race car. It's a daily driven car with some comforts but also have the potential and reliability than a r32.

Reliability wise, both are aging timepieces (>10 years old). Either one you buy would require regular maintenance, that is unless you managed to find one which is stored more than driven which is highly unlikely.

Everyday drive I think an 32 would be nice since it smaller for MY roads and so much more rare than an 33. If you are not going to race it up the revs, then the oil feed for the 32 should be sufficiently enough.

it terms of reliability, r32gtr requires turbo change (can rebuild with steel turbine wheel for std output or gt2530 for more power) and also a complete engine rebuild, using only the best items around, i.e forged pistons n rods, r33gtr crank, aftermarket oil pump, arp studs etc etc for ultimate reliability.
