Hello brothers and sisters,

Yesterday, went to A Famosa Water World. On the way back, there is a Perodua Kancil police car with two dark blue officers blocking the TOURIST road to A Famosa. They have nothing but 3 cones and stopping cars. They stopped my car and asking for my licenses and checking my road tax but my friend's car behind just JALAN JALAN for nothing. By the way, my car is stock standard with a front lips that lowered my ride by 1.5 inches.

1) Can they simply put on a block on their own?
2) Why block small road where there's lot of cars on the main road?
3) Are they allowed to do a road block? If there's a block, they aren't using only cones.

5) What should we do if we encounter this problem and asking $$$ for the things that we are right for minor exterior modifications.
6) Can the general police ( Dark Blue ) do anything like summon cars? They doesn't have any summons' receipts with them but a hard cover book like a student.

As far as I know, they cannot, unless 1 group with van, but this also done on main road, not small road like you said.

money money.... petrol increase ma,... so duit kopi also must increase... lo...exactly those dark blue police are not allowed/cannot saman cars for modifying but sometime they have the traffic police saman cos they kawan ma... the traffic kawan sign it, they bukak la if u don wan to give kopi-O. they are only allowed to saman those cars at yellow lines.. :)

CF bonet k not.... cos they give lame excuse like CF is not strong enuff...very dangerous..kakaka...idiot JPJ and police... :) which is sometime true if those CF is low quality. :)

aiya...can use CF but don't leave the surface showing the fiber. Just colour match with the car's color lor....sure the polis donno one unless they knock the bonet...

I especially hate it when these morons decide to plonk themselves around blind corners. This promotes the chance of an accident as some offenders are caught by surprise and the natural thing to do is step on the brakes.

Yeah, i agree. They tends to cari makan on their OWN! Do we have anything to do about it? It's our rights maa. Why on a TOURIST small road? I wonder.

They suppose to be on RONDA/PATROL but not a BLOCK making $$$. Pity for those who kena for nothing but wants their money. Hope this is not sensitive as this is a true case. Hope we can do something to change it.

melaka is a small place la...dun expect the roadblock is as huge as kl....

if u go to sabah o sarawak.....one way road oso got roadblock....got 'kerbau' crossing the road in a group as well.....

Dark Blue polices hv summon books as well coz las time Pak Lah said all polices r same....can saman...even if they dun hv the summon book wit them...they can cal nearby jpj/trafic staff to come over n summon u if they wish to do it

Dark blue polices seldom catch car modification......they normaly catch people...

in ur case....i think u r nervous n lack of skills in negotiate....so u gv them liao....

just tell him u want sammon if u feel u u didnt fault coz dont have da book and need to do a lot thing. sure he will let u go coz he need waste a lot time to summons u, cari makan sure will find another target 1.

Haha, first of all. I didn't give them any money and they didn't saman me. Maybe their mood is good that day. All i wanted to stress out is if we encounter the problem where they DIE also wants your MONEY. They really sucks big time anyway. Hate them so much.

If they die die wan ur money like last time i kenak by those White Waja... they give a lot, i mean really a lot of excuses like ur car illegal modified la, engine not yet tested ( even though i show him my green card) bla bla... go back to Balai with him la...park the car dere and tomorrow morning check with puspakom la...

If i park the car in the balai for 1 night, i think my car will be become stock standard.... there are a lot of thieves in Balai Polis... :( so just give them RM30 and say pergi main jauh jauh....
