Piggy Back ECU

Heard this news from an expert:

Apexi SAFC/ SAFC II and E-manage is not able to alter the air/fuel ratio for 4AGE 20V engine.

so what is the most suitable piggy back ECU for 4AGE 20V ?? :unsure:

Please share some idea and comment. B)

hmmm...i've talked to this mech...he also said the same...why? he said 20V SVT ECU, like has it's own brain...AI so good even the moment u install SAFC, the ECU will try to overread the SAFC. that y he said not compitable...i also not quite sure, just told u from from what i heard...y don't u try RSM...

RSM is not piggy back, it's just provide monitoring function.

Actually I wanted to alter my a/f ratio to increase the engine respond.

So, anyone know what is the piggy back ECU that can be used on 4AGE 20V silvertop?

Need sifus comment here.

i found one special em.. i forgot what thing already but a piggy back for 4a-fe, specially made for it... and i thought 20v can put, but... aiyah... cannot la wasted... <_<

What do you mean wasted?

Can you share what is the piggy back that you or your friends using and it work pefectly on 4AGE 20V...

I saw on the web..Malaysia dealer selling UNICHIP at RM1699 plus Dyno setting.

Will try to get the detail.

What is DMT phone number? Wanna call and ask them for the price quote 1st.

i was though of putting such SAFC2 into a normal SEG with 4AFE, izzit worth it?
Or only 4AGE will get the full advantage compared to 4AFE?

If that SAFCII can work well with your 4AFE engine, you can get a better respond engine by dyno tune the SAFCII properly.

Beside that , it can be cool accessories on your dashboard too...but beware of those thief. <_<

Yes, Unichip. You can ask DMT about it. They have the quote. If got budget more go for FREEDOM ECU as what sifu Allan always recommend one :D
