To all the sifus out there, im just curious wat r the main causes of an oil leak from the BOV. It squirts a bit of oil and the engine looks really messy. Btw im using HKS SSQV. How do u rectify it? Need your inputs guys. Thanks

First have to find out where the oil comes from.

1. Check the piping BEFORE intercooler (after turbo).

2. Check the piping BEFOR turbo (after airfilter and MAF sensor).

3. Your OCT has 2 hoses rite? where are they connected to?

Joeker,

All the connections are ok. As for the OCT, one hoses comes from the cyclinder head and the other i vented it outside. Usually wat are causes oil of squirting from the BOV?

What I meant was to check the condition inside the pipings, not the conection.

is it very oily?

Regarding the OCT, 1 hose from the cylinder head to the OCT rite?

THe other 1 hose is from the OCT to the ground, am I rite?

Yup, the pipings inside are oily and yes the other hose from the OCT is to the ground.

If the hose from OCT is to the ground, the piping after air filter before intercooler should be clean.

Do u mean the hole at intake piping(after air filter, before Turbo) for the hose from cylinder head is shut rite?

THe inside of your intercooler looks very oily and sotty rite?

Yup, the hole at intake piping is shut but have not checked the i/c yet. i think it should be oily

I think the bearing in your turbo has worn, allowing oil to seep out of the compressor side

You may have to send the turbo for service.

ur compressor wheel oil seal is leaking.. not a seriuos problem if not much oil coming out.

yeap check your turbo.....

if it's serious leaking, it mite be your turbin faulty whihc in other word it means...

turbo kong edi

good luck

Btw does it got to do with the engine?
Since there is no PCV hose connected to the intake pipe, that means the problem is isolated at the turbo.

serviced 4 months ago by Tong? Should'nt kong so fast.

Wat turbo? wat boost pressure?

The turbo service is a kit. (seals, thurst bearing, etc)

The kit cost RM500++ :(
