oil in intercooler piping

Yes it is sign of problem.

CHeck...

1.) PCV system

2.) Turbo's CHRA

3.) Turbo's oil return hose.

thank u Joeker

 habis rm la...

but there are no signs of white or blueish smoke.no power loss. also no oil at exhaust tip.

i should get a boost meter a.s.a.p at least can see whether the boost is normal or not.

the car is volvo S70 2.0T . it's low pressure turbo (LPT). TD04-13T producing 165bhp only. i was told the LPT running below 0.5bar.

Oily surface inside of i/c piping is normal due to the PCV.

But severe presence of oil is a symptom of problem coming soon.

If smoking, then the problem is already happen.

Better to let mechanic confirm because difficult to know without seeing first hand.
