nokia 7610 usb cable

guys, i installed the software for the usb cable dku-2. But it didnt pass the windows xp logo test thingy. But i continue anyway. Now it cannot detect my phone when i connect it to the pc. Im using windows xp with service pack 2 if im not mistaken.

Any idea how to solve this ? Or do i need to buy a bluetooth device. Damn la no money :(

hehhe...i had same prob..still havent goten down to figuring it out...
i installed the cable but cant seem to install anything into the phone..
cant remember if it even detected the phone..i think not.. :S

first install the nokia pc suite software that comes with your nokia 7610

get it here

Then restart your pc

then after restart

plug in the dku2 cable

then plug it into your nokia 7610

it will stated that it has detect a new device

then it shall apear in your my computer

thanx to eg8. Actually last time i cannot use because whenever the found new hardware thing comes, they ask u to install the driver/software, i cancel everything. Just now i tried install everything they ask and now can oledi.

yup... RS ( reduced size ) mmc . 128mb mmc rs is around rm80-rm90

why... 64mb rs is not enuff for you ka? i have so far installed 21 games,35 ringtones and yet still have 60% capacity.unless if you are mp3 junkies then get the 256mb ler.

update firmware: go to ONLY nokia professional center. DO NOT send it to handphone shop EVEN if it much cheaper 50%. later if you handphone getting unstable how ler?

not necessary faster, but much more stable.one thing about symbian OS, it is just like windows. IF you open too many program it will become slower since this hp got RAM.

i got roughly 2 days without charging.make calls receive calls SMS camera .play games of course consumed battery faster

always adhere with basic rechargable battery rules:
for the first time charging it please charge it for at least 12 hours.then use it until the battery power finished.
Only charge the battery when it totally drain all its power

im eyeing on nokia 6260 right now ;)
