Need you guys expertise and advise

hello all,
This is rather my first time here and since im really not that superb in car specs myself, being a female :embaressed_smile: , I hope some of u would be able to advise me further on this...

May I know which would be a better buy if ur option r left between a MyVi and Naza Sutera at the moment considering ur budget runs down between that figure...:emoticon_U:

The problem is, I kept hearing ppl telling me not to go MyVi and opt for Sutera instead. But bottomline is, I would like to get some real explaination and reccomendation on the advantages and setbacks between these 2 so that I dont make the wrong choice by the end of the day. Besides that, Im also having a time constraint as currently my car is stolen....and I need a car pretty fast .....:cry_smile: Ive also booked for MyVi already the thing is..but the waiting is just too frustratinggg.... :_:

Im confused..hope someone out there can enlighten me pls.

cuz myvi looks damn chic....unlike the sutera that *dunno wat to describe*
in that budget,i'd settle for the myvi 1.3dohc...got air bags,n all the nifty features.backed by toyota's design n safety regulations...mod it to trd bodykits n 17' rollings and u'll have a pimped out myvi that'll be turning heads. oh yea...forgot,get u from point A to point B too...

well, i didnt get the one with air bags lor..is that neccesary? Unless if i like to speed with it right? besides i heard they say Myvi definitely no speeding ..

They said its a mini version of Avanza...and avanza sucks they say...cos its tall..and tall not stable wor...true? what abt the engine and so on?? those parts..?

bout air bags leh...if u value life,evry safety feature that can be fitted in the car is necessary...or u'll be flying out of the windscreen acting superman.

hahaha ...ppl looking at me driving a myvi?? u couldnt be that serious...its not an extraordinary car....not even near sports car...myvi soon is going to be anywhere and everywhere lioa..LOL....what so special leh? is the engine powerful? :P can u go like up to 130 km/hr? haha..

viva, myvi is out if you need that car urgently. normaly waiting period is 8 months. unless you get 1000cc version.

if time is your constrain, get savvy AMT instead. I don't have any info about Sutera in hand, but i don't like the look of it.

myvi's engine is alrite talking bout weight to displacement ratio...i mean,its a 1.0 DOHC...goin 130km/h no probs...infact,if traffic lights,ur myvi will take off faster than my SOHC....

whats so special is that myvi's design comes from daihatsu boon and toyota passo...which also means their bodykits can fit nice onto myvi with very minimum alterations.its not anywhere near a sports car but it'll definately look better than a sutera...LOL

if me i will choose to get myvi... cos of most of pero2 car is using either Toyota or Daihatsu parts, n it will b less concern about his reliability n durability. of cos it will head turn when u mod some cool bodykits on it.. i still remember once i gave a compliment to a young kid driving a myvi with nice sport rim while pumping petrol.

about airbag is no an option for u to speeding ~ wats bring u hv the assumption cars comes wif airbags & abs is for speeding ? come on growth up lar.

since u hv doubt on myvi why dun jus get urself a sutera? sum more myvi is definately out since u need a car urgent.

but even if i get a sutera..does not guarantee i can get it instantly right?? ..maybe got to wait also wor.....and i agreee with ur that sutera design looks kinda akward leh..the lamps..and the shape..hahaha...but i dun know why ppl is going huuhaa...abt the possibility of sutera better than MYvi...so just wanna check out with u guys if this is true after all...?

i was told that customer waiting list is controlled by Perodue HQ, so no more undertable money involve (of course I may not know the dark side story, hehe).

my advice, if you really wanna go book myvi, go and order at Perdua Branch, not Dealer, dealer shop get the car slower.

viva, you may login to myviclub.com to check, some member actually place their booking last year June and yet to get their car.

I'm not sure whether you still can look for those 2nd hand car dealer who keep stock for myvi, you get the car fast (very fast indeep), but the draw back is that you will be the 2nd owner in the car registration card, may kill abit for resale value.

From what i know, if you can afford to "pay a little more", you can get your car within a week or two.... money makes the world go round... not to mention malaysia boleh... XD

i would definitely pick myvi... sutera is way too ugly... to me, it is even uglier than savvy... haha... and also because of myvi is from daihatsu/toyota or whateva platform... quality issue most probably no prob. no complaints from my friend who owns one. he's satisfied with what he had. he also commented it is worth "paying a little more".

hmm..the prob is i booked my Myvi at the Perodua lioa leh..still got to plead with the boss say..plsss lahh plsss lah...i need a car badly..no car, no job lioa...lol..
he cant even give me a definite answer...saying at least a month or so..but not guaranteed as well..and till today..since 2 weeks plus lioa..still no news..:(
i dont really trust second hand dealer ler..what if the car condition is real F#$$% up, and i end up forking more money for maintanence later on...dont want to take risk lar.....
anyway thnks for the info too.. :P
