need advice toinstall dohc head into satria

hi all,
im currently using a 1.6 sohc satria.would like advice on how to install 4g92 dohc head into my car.can i use my current ecu?waht is a afr?pls tell me everything i would need to change in order to change my current sohc to dohc.and finally any place or mechanic that can quote me a price with installation.advice really appreciated.cheers.

getting 92 dohc head is kinda difficult coz it is a very rare item... except u r getting 92 mivec head!!! else u can use 93 n 91 head as well.. but 93 will b better... u can use back ur current ecu no problem... AFR = adjustable fuel regulator....

thanks bro.so firstly,i have to get the 4g93 head.along with the afr.do i need anything else.eg distributor..etc.?how much is the afr?pls advice on everything i will need to get.really need advice from u guys.its a relief to be able to reuse my current ecu.can anyone quote me an estimation of the total amount along with installation?and if possible a reliable mechanic that can get it done?thx.help much appreciated.

afr is about 150+/- branded afr is about 300+/- is up to u... distributer u can use 91 carbie1... o use back 92p but u need to mod coz the 92p distributer is bigger little... but still can fit in... u need a timing tensioner... plug cable is different.. timing belt need to change then got 2 timing bearing, sohc only got 1 timing bearing, most of the stuff can use back!!!

It's always get best to get the complete set of head, ECU, wiring, injector, intake manifold all throw in together rather then rojak here and there..later got problem VERY hard to verify....

yes correct the most inportant thing is complete head!!
but then can use back the ecu and wiring no problem!! coz the head doen't hav any electronic stuff n wiring inside the head!! intake manifold n extractor can fit nicely...
well.. the common problem is the leaking problem.. the rest shouldn't hav any major problem.. and of coz ur mech must b good in adjusting the correct pully n correct timing belt used.. wrong timing can coz major problem!!

nope.. nomal 1.5 / 1.3 is 4G13 an 15.. its diff from the 91/92/93 coz its from 4G9x series... unless u change the whole engine :D

4g15 got twincam version lor.... but it is fitted in mitsu lancer models....
but conversion from SOHC to DOHC on 4g1X engines i not sure la...

coz vr rare ma 4g15 dohc..... not popular as well coz power increase not that much.... it is a normal stock mitsu engine.... if u wanna get 4g15 dohc, better get 4g91 dohc engine... produce more power....
