Most Memorable Present

Wondering what's your worse OR best present that you ever had. Be it a birthday present, anniversary, Christmas, any other kind of present.

My most memorable present. Half a box of tissue paper and a ugly troll that dressed up like a policeman.

suprise bday party by my ex-gf and classmates in the uni lecture hall after an event..almost cried :X-:
first time got party for me

a surprise party for my birthday in the ice-skating rink along with 20 over hockey skaters...and a cake which my friends failed to bury my face into...*yummy choc banana fm secret recipe*...no presents and its fine with me.on that same day the ice-rink had a ice-hockey clinic for exposure to the public on what hockey is all about.i scored 2 winning goals as a first timer.

the other memorable moment was a yr later after i gave my ex a diamond platinum pendant shaped of a butterfly with 3pcs princess cut diamonds on each wing and she gave me a versace moneyclip.for christmas.after presents,hehe....ditto with ecstasy elmo la...her birthday i gave her a pair of oakley wiretap since she has a plastic gucci.

The reason why I asked this thread is because I was thinking of buying something for a friend. Just a regular female friend. The thing is, I had the thought of buying an electric shaver for her. I saw the advertisment for Philips shaver (on sale now) and I was wondering if she would declare me insane or would actually "thank" me for the present. What you gals/guys say about this?

having my wedding on my birthday itself.... all my hengdai and chimui celebrate my b'day wit me after i pick up the bride... this is just so nice...

nite time as well... after the wedding dinner, although no gift fr anyone.. but at least the guys & gals sang song for me and get drunk together... heh heh heh...

My friend she gave me a bday present i felt was quite sweet.. she manage to get all my photos with my buddies and compile it into a very nice poster with photoshop and frame it up.. One of the sweetest thing i would said.. i was stun when i recieve it..

i cannot remember much of any memorible gifts...me had no suprise dinner...i plan my own birthday and ask people to join my plan~ thats also because i'm the one that always plan for people birthdays/occasions around me cicle of friends...

the only one which is quite memorible is during form 5...one of my closest friend..call me up and ask me what you like to have on your birthday....i cannot remember anything...but...what i know is..they plan halfway and i have to re-plan everything for myself that night...so basicly that it is la...

so....i guess..no one plan my birthday before gua..except for my parents lo...

as for gift(which is the topic supposingly)...nothing i could remember....sighs
really cannot remember...i'm so sad.

don;t buy shaver for your girl friends la...not a very charming gift at all...i rather you get a handbag , jewerly(always works) , perfume sets , cosmetics if she wears one(the exp are always good) ,soft toy(teddy),.....shoes(of you know her size and kind of shoe she wears)....

as for shoes..i would like to specify some universal type

that is all i could think of now.

dun buy shirts for birthday..they will have tones of it..buying t-shirts is like not using your brain....get it?

alantan: Thanks so much for your input. Appreciate it. I wasn't really going to buy a shaver; it's just a thought what if. Sure it's unromantic/not a sweet gift or anything nice. Just plain practical. But just the thought of what if and what will a girl thinks.

i guess that shaver as a present is still not that appropriate for a girl girl lo..its such a personal stuff? and sometimes maybe they dislike those type of shaver?maybe they prefer to Wax..?..quite risky..keke...

for girls..dun get such personal stuff yet unless u really know her very well then only u get la...than that one is called sweet...sometimes we dunno how they think de le?

so i would suggest jewelry is still the best option for this occation lo...correct me if i m wrong la...r u going after this girl?okay i will assume that la..i suggest that u get a jewelry brand from HK...i guess its called "Bausch" u can check at ikano powercenter ground floor..
got a diamond pendant there..althought its not that expensive..but it definately look classy..*pai seh* i m only 19 ya...T.T
not that rich too....its stainless steel and the diamond is those normal one la...but at least its a cosmetic jewelry ma..but not to forget..99% girls like jewelry..
