Mods and bodykits for MB 190E

I own a 1987 MB 190E 2.0 I wanna know where I can find mods and bodykits 4 this car. 2.0 isn't enough. haha hope that you guys can help me mod my car the 'German' way

try stuttgart auto potong shop near bkt lanjan/sg penchala highway there.
I used to go there last time to get parts for my E230 and I saw a cosworth 2.3L engine for 190.

i own a 2.0 190e too.I dunno bout yours but my FC sucks big time and the power of the car is ridiculously bad. :cool:

but now i'm a bit confuse of the name of the shop. it's either stuttgart or mb auto. this potong shop stocks a lot of benz and bmw parts. went there about a year ago, gotta zender bodykit for my E230/W124

roughly it's along LDP. if you're from sri damansara heading towards kl, just b4 1 utama. the shop is on yr left somewhere mofaz go-kart fastrack. there's also a petronas station as another landmark.

haha thanx everyone. So much info. It's nice to know that ppl are still driving the w201 around. Cheers. Well, to rev190, my car's FC is okay lar, if 60-70 a week is okay by your standards. performance wise, i think my car's power is okay but the hot weather does rob some performance tho. tips, try driving it without air con, windows and sunroof down, at night, very nice. i actually outgunned a honda civic b16b type r. yes we were racing. no offense to honda owners ah. I hav a lot of respect 4 honda vtec engines too. I outgunned him by not relying on da auto transmssion. I shifted myself., so I practically red lined the engine haha but I know my power unit is quite powerful bcos my dad converted it b4. U just hafta drive manually using the 3 and 2 gears. Trust me it werks. but do know that this car has no rev limiter so be careful.

well..FYI..mines manual transmission.how bout that?cool as it may sound but damm...performs otherwise man :rolleyes: .Well if your 190 could outrun a b16b..then i guess you have nothing to complain about..good for you.anyway good luck in your quest in modifying your ride.just stay modest n SHARE wateva info you have or had done ya.haha.. :) .any bodykit plans?

can't predict much on the fc really. coz i'll normally drive it for long distance. my kl-jb cost RM60 with a constance 170-180kmh speed. but urban drive is a bitt shitty, slow pick-up and fc sucks!

anyhow, the car is 14 years old and I still loves its comfort ride!

It won't happen everyday that I outgun a b16b. More potent versions await. That's y we need mods. haha dun worry if I hav any info bout our cars. Manual? I'm dying for one. Auto sucks but I still can shift myself lar haha not good 4 transmission but wat to do? Evolution bodylit? I want!!!! Hope to share more with you.

U can try going to my mechanic who does repair for my 230E n my dad's C200... he has done a number of bodykits jobs for w124 series... give him a ring.. Karl Benz 0378061630.. His workshop is near the chruch around long foong beside LDP... give him a buzz

after doing abit of research..i personally think if we want more out of our 190's..get a transplant.Not frm another 190version but the w124 models.Engine is newer in terms of yr manufactured as well as technology.correct me if im wrongla cos im actually speaking based on my 2.0.N its a direct bolt on to the 190's.2.3 16v..cosworth 190 is fast..but sadly its quite a problematic engine.n FC is horrible.just my 2cents.

All i can say..for those without a budget..think the only way to get performance is to go Jap..sr20 or rb26 or something.cos this cars are not built for performance in the first place. :rolleyes:

I agree that certain engines are problematic. But cmon, it's a german car, so I think the only engine that should be in the bay is a german engine. No way am I gonna put a Jap engine . It just destroys the characteristics of the car itself. When I say German, I mean we could actually mount a BMW engine on haha. No really my dad's fren did it to his Merc :p . Now think about it, BMW performance coupled with Merc solidness and chassis. Wow! But now actually I'm kinda sad, just had a minor accident and my grille is screwed and bumper is wrecked. I need to find a new and nice bumper. Anyone? ;)

geez..sad to hear that man.now she has a wrecked lip and a broken nose?u need to get her 4 a cosmetic surgery. :) since your grill is wrecked..replace it with the advantgarde wan.Chrome strips..looks great.as for the bumper, i hear a new taiwan made front bumper is about rm700.mm..if not try looking for the 16v front bumper.the one im actually looking for.its bigger n has a thin lip at the bottom.gives the car a lowered effect.just my 2cents.

bro..if u happen to come across the 16v bumper..do let me know ya. im in the verge of transforming my ride too.:)
