Hey everyone. How ya'll doing? Its been a long time since i've contributed anything to the forum. LoL.

Lets get strait to the point. I've finally saved some amount of cash(thanks to makaning maggi for 4 months strait,n now no hair already). Kinda itching to get some new parts. Now, i know there're alot of skylines(32,33 n 34s) out there on the malaysian roads that are godlike in speed and mods and would def leave the R35 in the dust(dream come true). Would like to know what u guys think i should do. Your suggestions are welcomed. And if possible, listing down your dream mods(and current mods) would also be awesome. I'm looking to build an over all car(not fast in strait only, but can makan corner, or not def will fly, off the road ar. LoL)

so far, these are my wish list(some are in the process of being obtained):

1. Conrod: JUN (sudah ada)
2. Piston: JUN (belum beli)
3. Crankshaft: too expensive
4. Turbines: Garrett 2871R (next item to be obtained)
5. Intercooler: HKS type R (already in)
6. Downpipe: HKS(forgot the model)
7. Intake: also forgot. :banghead:

All the smaller stuff like injectors, intake, ECU and etc have all been upgraded. since I'm jus a fella who dreams of handing these supercar dudes a whopper combo served with a big smile(hopefully not the other way round), hopefully i can get ur help to achieve it. Thanks in advance.

Clutch, brakes, handling?

Oil pump, fuel pump, water pump?

What cams you running? JUN pistons are made by Cosworth right? So basically you going for oversized pistons?

clutch not yet, would be big help cos the range of items are endless. oil pump, water pump, fuel pump not in yet. brakes tot of the grippen cos cost efficient.
but pimpin, the items, if put in full, won't it go against the purpose of a daily driver?

What do you mean items if put in full? Which items?

BTW, mana hilang? Been awhile since I've seen you posting on ZTH :wavey:

sorry man, I think we're getting ourselves confused. Few of the stuff that u said, such as fuel pump, water pump have already been purchased but can't remember which one. Will get the list at home n put it up. But besides that, recommendation bout major stuff like the options listed above are welcomed.

Sorry hilang for some time, just finished my finals. 2 months. Stress macam nak mati. So now its over, finally decided to finish the job on the car.

Eh, what do u think bout the garrett 2871r? Or are there better twin turbo upgrades in the market?

Cams hks.

from my experience tinkering with my babes, its best to pay attention to reliability-wise/safety upgrades FIRST, before even thinking about going performance. You know, at the end of the day whats a fast car when it doesn't even last?

if you have forged internals it's going to be a bit of bitch for a daily driver because you have to wait till the engine warms up real good for the internals to expand and settle

GT 2871R is similar to the HKS GT-RS series and are a drop in upgrade for SR20DET engines.
PIMPIN is running HKS GT-RS in his car...

but my personal opinion is, if you want to go down the twin route, dont go any bigger than GT 2860-5 (HKS 2530 size). You go twin because you want response, and GT-RS sized turbos start to spool around 4500 RPM (just like the Z tune, hence why it has a 2.8 litre engine for off boost torque) in which case you might as well go for a single turbo like the T04Z with a turbine housing of 0.81 which gives about the same response and YESSS dont worry you can still take corners

heres proof: HKS RB28 powered BNR34 owned by Tetsuhiro Oka... turbo is a Greddy T78.. full boost at 5000 RPM

my advice is, get a metal gasket since injectors and ECU you have already and then slap on a turbo then upgrade suspension and brakes...cost effective and trust me you will enjoy your car.

then later you gila kuasa upgrade lagi

thanks cosmic. Hence why I created this thread. Any and all suggestions are most welcomed. =)
I have 1 month from now to decide all the mods. Thanks. I'll update this thread daily and would like to know what u guys think.

thanks farizio. How r u? Man, I've definitely been missing this forum. I think I'll stick to the twin setup.

by all means, but i recommend the 2860R -5 like Darkchilds' Turbo.. you can still go up to 600 HP if you want.. PS theres a TT tonight Aman Suria at KAyu Nasi Kandar at 9pm... come if you want

I think cosmicgate and farizio have pretty much said what needs to be done. Since you have injectors, fuel pump, ECU (Motec IIRC), it should be a simple case of bolt-on Garrett turbos.

Other thing missing is the clutch might not last, some handling and good braking (always overlooked!).

My suggestions are abit more than what is needed for daily driven since I don't drive everyday and I have a bit more mods such as the 2.8 engine, etc. So we have different goals :)

C u guys tonight @ 9pm

sorry faz, will be melaka till sunday. >_ waiting for my results. LoL
maybe next week or something when i'm free i'll def give u a buzz through zth or msn.

Can't help noticing the petrol indicator, it goes as fast as the car!

sounds good boss! but 2871r=2860-10=gt-rs wont be nice daily driver laaaa

u will need at least 2.8 to spool them

check out RIPs october sales... 15% off... can get stock internal bottom end ready to plug-in for RM10,000 or a bit over....

now 3.0 would spool 2871r perfectly.... and u can eksyen to pimpin that u got 200cc more :rofl::rofl:

which hospital has the pleasure of seeing white r34 gtr driving in everyday?

bro..........a bit of my opinion: try not to reveal too much on th net...personal details such as workplace/drive to work, list of mods,wshop....etc...sad to see your car gone in 60seconds.....by the way if cash permits go for ohlins or aragosta...a friend of mine has 34 with ohlins/oil resevoir....its handles great...minus comfort(prob the settings?)

ohlins and aragosta are awesome, but they are built for one purpose, the track...

so if you are purchasing these suspensions you can forget about comfort, even on the softest setting.. some of these come with 12kg springs and that is really hard...not exactly for daily driver use. not to mention repair kit cannot find...

for daily driver better off with something like Tein where you can at least service it, and you have a choice for a more street-able setup
