MODIFICATION ON CIVIC 2.0 I-VTEC

I OWNED A CIVIC 2.0 I-VTEC..GOIN TO TO DO SOMETHING ON THIS CAR..ANY SUGGESTION??

1. can fit DC-5 engine??
2. can fit DC-5 dashboad??
3. wat about the knuckle and mounting and everything??
4. how much does it cost for DC-5 engine??
5. where can get DC-5 halfcut??

shazmi3: welcome to the civic es club..kindly put ur name down in the ES member list...well, i did ask around for the k20A dc5 engine...there is this guy who told me that he can get for rm20k for the half cut.the EP3 k20a engine is slightly cheaper compared to the dc5..to fit in the dashboard we can;t comfirm it now until u really try it..i think fitting should not be a problem..but definately there will be some gap somewhere for sure...another monsta in the making man..ahahaha...after dropping in ur engine, u can change to racing cams plus install the HKS Fcon Vpro...that would give u roughtly 295 horses :D

shazmi3: i can help u arrange the shipment of ur car from KK to Port Klang and when ur done i can help u ship from Port KLang to KK ..but of coz with a fee..ahahaha..j/k

if u make up ur mind of sending ur car down here, let me know ya...so that i can give u my agent contact in KK...advise u to put in a 20' container...dun use RORO vessel...after ur car damage nanti..ehehehehe

neway for me money no probz...i just wanna make sure evertythg that i ask can do...im not in klang actually...im in kk sabah...people here dunno how to play V-tec..now planning to make the civic and campak dc-5 engine and tapau all the car here...so belagak lah the people here..baru iswara sumbat VR4 dah nak kecoh...all the people here more to toyota..so if can wanna tapau few of the gelabah people yang macam baru semalam dapat b.o.v. kecoh nak mampos..so biar diorang kene penangan v-tec.n planning to ship the car to kl..n prepare everythg and send here back..i dont want to prepare the car here..serious diorang tak penah kene dgn v-tec lagi..sikit sikit turbo...kecoh....

but i still trust v-tec bcse i have eg8 in kl and my bro use it..

I owned a civic 2.0 too! My first upgrade is Tinted!!! Next upgrade might be HID and sport rim!! Anyone here using HID in ur civic? How many k is more bright and nice? What brand consider good? I m thinking to go for Philips 6k HID. Thanks for every information.

If you ask me..... it a new car. enjoy it first laa. its still under warranty. free service 40K km or 2 yrs. at least wait till thats over. than blow it laa. nway, with all the money thats potentially to be blown, why not just get the original thing... (dc5).... just my 2 cents kay.... still suka hati lu laa apa nak buat.... :D B)
