Correct me if im wrong anywhere below...</p><p></p><p>4G63T - 2.0 Turbo on Mitsus higher performance cars...Evo's, Eclipses..</p><p></p><p>4G13,4G15,4G91(also 1.5 correct?) - 1.3, and 1.5...The entry level NA Satria's / Mirage</p><p></p><p>4G92 - Mitsu's 1.6 engines.. the 1.6 MIVEC engine variant is also designated with this engine code.</p><p></p><p>4G93 - Mitsu's 1.8 engines...found on the GTi and Putra.... </p><p></p><p>4G93T - 1.8 Turbo as found on the old Lancer GSR's.</p><p></p><p>Then there were the 6A10's, 6A12's etc... FTO, Eterna etc...</p><p></p><p>Here's what i need help with.....</p><p>i know there commonly are 1.6 MIVEC engines from Mitsubishi... and i also know that there are currently 1.8 MIVEC engines in the market....</p><p></p><p>The 1.6 MIVECs were available out of the Mitsu Factory on the 1990's Mirage Cyborgs....</p><p>MY QUESTION IS.....</p><p>Were there 1.8 MIVEC's made straight out of the Mitsu factory? or are they 4G93 engines modded with a MIVEC head by tuners?</p><p></p><p>Am just doing some research so if anyone knows, do help ya..</p><p></p><p>Thanks in advance..</p></blockquote><p></p>
